Opportunity: Accounting Manager Manage and guide accounting processes for properties within the HHM Hotels joint venture portfolio, with the main objective of preparing timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and established standards. Prepare and review timely and accurate financial statements, budgets and forecasts, and ensure compliance with tax regulations, as applicable. Assist with both internal and external audits to ensure complete, timely and accurate responses to information requests. Your Growth Path Housekeeping Supervisor/Guest Service Agent - Executive Housekeeper or Front Office Manager Your Focus * Greet and acknowledge guests in a courteous and friendly manner. * Inspect assigned areas and perform cleaning tasks accordingly. * Collect trash from the service landings and dispose of in outside trash dumpsters. * Vacuum and dust guest corridors. * Pick up bed and other linen from hotel floors and transport to the laundry collection site. * Deliver clean linen to assigned sections. * Report maintenance issues. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of guest areas. * Respond to guest inquiries and assistance. * Work as a room attendant when staffing shortages occur or during peak periods. * Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction. * Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM's EarthView program. * Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards. * Ensure overall guest satisfaction. * Perform other duties as requested by management. Opportunity: Accounting Manager Manage and guide accounting processes for properties within the HHM Hotels joint venture portfolio, with the main objective of preparing timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and established standards. Prepare and review timely and accurate financial statements, budgets and forecasts, and ensure compliance with tax regulations, as applicable. Potential Career Path Director of Accounting/Senior Director of Accounting/VP of Finance/Controller Essential Job Functions * Prepare accurate and timely financial statements for joint venture entities, including analytical reviews, ensuring compliance with GAAP. * Oversee the accounting and reporting associated with joint ventures and related consolidations. Knowledge of equity accounting is essential. * Monthly review of joint venture financial statements, including oversight and validation of accounting and reconciliations of property-level accounts. Ensure proper consolidation for owner and lender reporting. Work closely with Regional Directors of Accounting, Controllers and the Senior Vice President of Finance to ensure effective coordination of activities between Accounting and Operations. * Ensure compliance of the joint venture structures and transactions with relevant tax requirements for REIT's (Real Estate Investment Trust). * Ensure proper purchase accounting for new joint ventures, as required. * Assist in preparation and review of cash flow forecasts, projections, and cash requirements to meet operations and debt service requirements. * Assist with the calculation, management, and reporting of debt covenants to applicable lenders as required per loan documents. * Assist with both internal and external audits to ensure complete, timely and accurate responses to information requests. * Ensure compliance and satisfaction of all government, company, franchise and ownership requirements. * Interview, select, train, schedule, coach, and support associates, ensuring they perform in accordance with established brand or hotel standards and consistent with HHM core values. * Perform other job-related duties as requested by management. Position Requirements * Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required. * Active CPA license is required * Minimum of five to seven years of experience in accounting, including supervisory experience * Previous cash flow forecasting experience required. * Prior hotel experience is preferred, but not required.
