Opportunity: RoomAttendant Clean and maintain guest rooms to ensure rooms meet established standards. Your Growth Path Housekeeping Supervisor - Assistant Executive Housekeeper - Executive Housekeeper Your Focus * Greet guests upon interaction with a warm and friendly greeting.
* Clean guest rooms according to standards within the allotted time frame by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
* Change bed linens and replace towels and other amenities.
* Clean and polish furniture and fixtures; dust furniture, walls or equipment.
* Notify managers concerning the need for repairs in guest rooms.
* Process guest items left in rooms according to lost and found policy.
* Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
* Perform house person and lobby attendant duties when short staffed or during peak periods.
* Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
* Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
* Perform other duties as requested by management.
Your Background and Skills
* High School diploma preferred.
* Previous housekeeping experience required or equivalent training.
* Understand and communicate in English.

What You'll Do
As a RoomAttendant with Kimpton, you'll be responsible for cleaning guest rooms and common areas, all the while providing outstanding service to our guests along the way. You'll act as an advocate for the hotel, be a creator of ridiculously personal experiences and develop relationships with guests that will compel them to return.
Some of your responsibilities include:
Clean, dust, wax, scrub, polish and service guest rooms daily in line with hotel procedures.
Replace linens on beds and replenish guest room supplies, empty wastebaskets. Rearrange furnishings, drapes and room accessories.
Provide necessary linen and amenities to guests in accordance with the guest room legend.
Leave rooms in uniform arrangement as determined by the Executive Housekeeper and make sure the door is closed and the room is locked.
Report any damage, hazards, repairs, and strangers in assigned areas.
Return any items found in guest rooms, hallways, or back of the house to the Housekeeping department as a lost and found item. Log the date, where it was found, description of the item and the name of the person who found it.
Clean all corridors and service areas. Respond to any projects or requests developed by the Housekeeping management team.
Responsible for the pass key security and assuring that it is turned in at the close of each shift or according to the specific hotel guidelines.
Restock the cart at the end of your shift and organize the linen closet to prepare for the next day.
Report any exceptional and/or unusual circumstances, such as no luggage in a stay-over room, no service needed, sleep-outs, guests smoking in rooms, etc. to the on duty supervisor or manager.
Perform other duties as directed, developed, or assigned.
What You Bring
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is preferred.
1 year of experience in customer service or similar role.
Excellent problem solver with great intuition.
You genuinely care for the safety and security of the guests.

Overview
Clean and stock guest rooms to ensure HEI Hotels and Resorts' high standards of cleanliness.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using cloths, mops, sponges, brushes, and/or cleaning agents by extending arms over head, bending, and stooping.
* Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents.
* Strip beds and make beds, changing bed linens, which may require lifting bedspreads weighing a maximum of 50 lbs.
* Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves thoroughly.
* Push and pull vacuum throughout the entire room and empty trash.
* Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest room.
* Sign for room keys, retrieve, push to assigned rooms and restock heavy cart. Visually inspect room for cleanliness and appearance and signify completion for room.
* Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
* Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
* Ability to scrub and scour surfaces, extend arms over head to perform cleaning tasks, and work in confined spaces.
* Must be willing to "pitch-in" and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player.
* Knowledge of chemical cleaning agents and operation of various cleaning equipment with or without reasonable accommodation.
* Ability to push and/or pull equipment weighing up to 100 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
* Effective verbal and written communication skills.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deliver on the promise of Sonesta Service in all interactions with guests and clients according to the Sonesta G.U.E.S.T. standards.
Respond to guest complaints, special requests and ensure corrective action is taken to achieve complete guest satisfaction.
Clean and service assigned rooms or areas according to established standards and procedures including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, removing trash, etc. May include cleaning the kitchen area, room refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, dishware, etc.
Notify supervisor when service is completed so rooms may be sold or occupied. Report any room unable to be serviced to supervisor according to established procedures.
When assigned to laundry, monitor laundry supplies and equipment to ensure they are sufficient and in working order. Operate washers and dryers according to hotel standards and manufacturers' guidelines. Receive soiled linens and inspect for damaged or stained items. Fold and store clean linens, report damages to supervisor.
Minimize waste of supplies and amenities within all areas of housekeeping.
May regularly assist with deep cleaning projects.
Report needed repairs or unsafe conditions to supervisor.
Handle all lost and found items according to established procedures.
Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other shifts and departmental management.
Ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws regarding health and safety services.
Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Some previous housekeeping experience preferred.
Previous background from the extended stay industry preferred.
Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English is preferred; other languages beneficial.
Basic reading, writing and mathematical abilities are preferred.
Frequently standing up, bending, climbing, kneeling, and moving about the facility.

Job Overview
Ensure sanitation standards and cleanliness in all kitchen areas. Clean and sanitize all areas of the kitchen and operate the dish washing machine in a safe, accident-free manner. Cleans both the front and back of the house as well as break room overnight in preparation for the following day's business.
Responsibilities
Sweeps, mops, empties trash throughout the kitchen to maintain a clean work environment.
Mops kitchen floors, cleans all kitchen work surfaces as regularly schedules by management including walls, ceilings, hoods, vents, and ovens.
Gathers all trash cans from kitchen work areas at the end of each shift and empties the trash, and washes the trash cans.
Sweep loading dock and kitchen entrance areas, clearing litter and debris to trash bins, for the safety of employees and purveyors.
Cleans the front of the house (sweep & mop floor, clean tables & chairs, wipe down bar area)
Remove and wash all floor mats, replace when dry.
Gathers all dirty dishware from the tubs brought to the dish room, rinses, and stacks in dish racks, always clearing dishes of leftovers and trash in order to prepare for automated washing.
Loads full dish-racks on belt and ensures correct placement in accordance to the instructions for the operation of the machine. Operates automatic dish washing machine by using controls as instructed.
Loads dishwashing solutions into automatic dispensers and regulates the output of detergents and chemicals to the dishwashing machine by monitoring and adjusting controls.
Unloads clean dishes from racks after being processed through dish machine, inspects for cleanliness and carefully stacks in specified carts and shelves for the easy use by restaurant and kitchen staff.
Manually scrubs pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment that cannot be washed automatically, using detergents, scourers, and special solutions as required. Inspects for cleanliness, manually dries with hand towels, and puts away in correct location.
Notify Engineering of any maintenance concerns.
Keeps the dish room in clean and orderly condition at all times by sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, wiping counters, and equipment and organizing shelves in order to maintain a sanitary work station and to meet mandated health compliance requirements.

The primary purpose of the House Attendant position is to maintain high levels of cleanliness in hallways, stairwells, public restrooms, elevator areas, and other public spaces of the hotel. Duties and Responsibilities
Remove trash from vending areas
Clean floors, walls and machines in vending areas
Clean service elevator areas and remove trash
Provide clean linens for roomattendants
Bring all soiled linen to laundry and separate it
Help roomattendants organize and clean carts
Pick up debris in hallways
Clean fitness center, wipe down equipment, and restock towels in fitness center daily
Walk assigned areas to remove any large items and trash from hallways
Clean spills and marks off hallway walls as needed
Report any carpet stains or work orders to housekeeping office
Maintain a friendly and helpful attitude with guests at all times
Other tasks assigned by management
