Hersheypark is seeking a highly-motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Guest Experience Scheduling and Training Intern. This is a part-time role that provides hands-on experience, specifically focusing on the operational support functions of our Guest Experience (GE) department, which includes front-line teams such as Admissions and Guest Relations. The intern will assist the GE Leadership team with staffing logistics, scheduling optimization, and the execution of training programs to ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction and operational efficiency under the guidance of the Assistant Area Manager of Scheduling.
Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):
Scheduling
* Assist the GE Leadership team in creating, managing, and distributing biweekly staff schedules for multiple Guest Experience departments (e.g., Admissions, Guest Relations, Rentals, Seasonal Events).*
* Utilize workforce management software (UKG) to input schedule requests, manage shift changes, and ensuring adequate staffing levels are maintained based on operational needs.*
* Assist with monitoring daily staffing reports and communicate proactively with departmental supervisors regarding coverage gaps and call-offs.*
* Help process schedule and availability changes in accordance with company and departmental policies.*
Training and Development Assistance
* Support the planning and execution of new hire orientation sessions and departmental training workshops for Guest Experience team members.*
* Audit employees and supervisors during operational hours to ensure proper procedures including, but not limited to: Guest Experience department standards, hospitality and guest interactions, child labor law compliance, and make recommendations to the Guest Experience management team for continuous training and development opportunities*
* Assist in updating, organizing, and distributing training materials, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and job aids.
* Coordinate logistics for training sessions, including room reservations and material preparation.
* Observe and provide feedback on training effectiveness and suggest improvements to training content or delivery methods.
Operational
* Act as a positive representative of the GE Leadership team, assisting with on-the-spot communication and problem-solving.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
* Must be at least 18 years of age on the day of applying for this position
* Must be a sophomore, junior, or senior undergraduate majoring in Human Resources, Communications, Hospitality Management, Park and Recreation, or another related major
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* At least 1 year of guest-facing experience preferred.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications, including Excel and Word.
* Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups of people.

Job Demands:
* Must be able to work 3 days per week throughout the summer season to include a rotation of mornings and evenings, weekends, and holidays. * Physical requirements include standing for up to 8 hours at a time and walking in excess of 1 mile per day (including up and down stairs) and ability to lift up to 50 pounds

This role is generally reserved for majors such as Park & Recreation or Sports & Event Management but is open to anyone. Summary: NCS's Wellness &Resiliency program/Outpatient Services Program provides outpatient services that help children and adolescents with depression, anxiety, stress, anger, self-esteem, ADHD, ADHD, bereavement or other emotional, social and behavioral difficulties. Following a comprehensive assessment and consultation, WRP/Outpatient Clinicians identify the child's needs and make recommendations for treatment. Treatment may consist of one or more of the following: individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, and/or medication management. Generally, sessions are about one hour weekly, though depending on the child's needs, the pace may vary. Evidence-based treatments such as Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Milieu Therapy are available. Internship must be able to provide individual therapy and group therapy under the direction of a supervisor.
Specific Duties
Communication
Maintain therapy appointments with children and their families on site and in their home. This also includes following up on cancellations and no-shows.
Maintain correspondence with families who do not show for sessions or are unable to be reached via telephone through letters.
Obtain signatures from children and their caregivers on all paperwork requiring them on specified dates as the paperwork is prepared.
Maintain consistent correspondence with supervisor regarding continuing treatment.
Notify Supervisor of any emergency situations within 30 minutes. Follow agency emergency protocol and complete incident report within 24 hours.
Attend supervision as scheduled.
Consult with psychiatrist and evaluators as directed and provide clinical updates as needed / requested.
Clinicians are expected to check mailboxes, email, and voicemail daily.
Communicate with WRP case manager when additional support to meet paperwork requirements is necessary at the discretion of the supervisor.
Direct Care
Provide Group therapy for WRP/Outpatient program as directed.
Provide Individual therapy for WRP program as directed.
Provide crisis intervention and action in response to acute client behavior, including oversight of CRC transportation and accompaniment, if necessary, for WRP consumers as directed.
Provide risk assessments, when necessary, for WRP/outpatient consumers as directed.
Ensure the treatment plans are up to date and measurable.
Comply with CBH guidelines and authorizations.
Complete assessment for children in Wellness & Resiliency Program (WRP)
Collaborating with Behavioral Health Technicians (BHT), assisting with psychoeducation, providing feedback, and supervision
Assisting with the implementation of psychoeducation
Assisting with CRISIS situations, completing Incident Reports, and follow up.
Document all telephone contacts with children, their families, and outside agencies via clinical progress note.
Follow up with families who cannot be reached via telephone through communication letters.
Schedule to meet with children's guardians to complete all treatment plans either on site or in homes.
Set up and maintain a weekly therapy schedule for his/her caseload as assigned by the Director.
Maintain charts via clinical documentation for all assigned children.
Have supervision weekly as scheduled
Stay current on educational task per syllabus.
Additional Duties
Attend all agencies specific trainings and additional professional trainings as assigned.
Complete chart reviews as assigned.
Complete discharge paperwork and aftercare plans as assigned.
Provide administrative and case management duties as assigned.
Maintain professional and agency ethics.
Follow all agency policies and procedures,
Work in accordance with federal, state, and local regulatory standards.
Education requirements:
Education: Full time enrollment in a master's degree from an accredited university in a clinical mental health discipline, such as psychology, counseling, clinical social work, and marriage and family therapy or related field.

As an Athletic Trainer Intern, staff should expect to work under a Certified Athletic Trainer. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Athletic Trainer Interns should be knowledgeable in the injuries and sport injury prevention.
Must be willing to evolve and adapt with the needs of the business.
Maintain a positive learning environment for clinical education of other athletic trainer interns
Attend weekly meetings to discuss current issues and safety lists
Maintain and be knowledgeable resource of current and proposed standards of practice and state guidelines of athletic trainers
Ensuring adherence to HIPAA standards
Responsible to provide basic athletic training services to all campers, guests, and staff.
Follow all instructions of the certified athletic trainers. Any athletic trainer intern unclear of any given instructions should ask a staff athletic trainer prior to carrying out the task.
Attend and participate in staff training to acquire knowledge for behavior management techniques, emergency evacuation procedures, etc.
Responsible for maintaining records on campers, staff, guests utilizing our internal platforms
Contribute to overall organization and administration of the athletic training room in conjunction with other assigned staff
Responsible for scheduling and follow-up evaluation and check-in appointments
Liaison between parents, coaches, program staff, and athletes regarding injury care, prevention, management, treatment.
Maintains Woodward safety logs, operational sheets and incident logs
Ensure the Athletic Training Room is covered on a rotational basis from 8:30am to 10pm Sunday - Saturday
Provide, alongside a Certified Athletic Trainer, on-call overnight coverage on a rotational basis every night via phone and radio coverage
Take daily inventory on supplies and operational needs
Assist with refilling hydration stations across camp grounds consistently and upon request from any and all staff
Communicate any and all maintenance needed to uphold a safe and sanitized athletic training room
Attend programming coaching clinics to provide education on safety and wellness
Help facilitate safety and wellness across the entire camp
Support storytelling, social and content ideas for medical and wellness program
Other duties as assigned.

The Game Day Internship Program is designed for college students to explore careers in the sport industry while getting hands-on experience working with one of the most successful teams in Minor League Baseball. The IronPig's GDI Program will expose students to numerous game day roles and will allow students to learn from and work alongside IronPigs Front Office Staff members. By experiencing multiple departments, the GDI Program is designed to assist students in choosing which specific direction they are interested in.
Timeline:
The GDI program will begin at the end of March and will conclude in September. Interns are expected to be present for all IronPigs' games they are scheduled for. Although interns will not be scheduled to work 100% of the games, we are looking for qualified candidates that have open availability. We acknowledge that most colleges and universities do not end the school semester until May. The GDI Program is able to work with individuals that are still attending classes at that time.
Hours:
Game day report time is approximately 2.5 hours prior to first pitch (4:30PM for a standard 7:05PM game). GDI's will be dismissed shortly after the game ends when all responsibilities are finished.
College Credit/Compensation:
$40 per game - no housing provided
Game Day Interns are able to earn college credit.
Experience Includes:
