Deep River is currently seeking an Adult Residential Support Professional to join the Neillsville team. Deep River is a comprehensive substance abuse disorder treatment facility in Neillsville, WI committed to helping residents move into sustainable recovery. Services include a full range of DHS 75 and DHS 83 license requirements and include a trauma informed approach, with gender specific services for men.
This is a continuous posting in anticipation of future full-time 3rd shift opportunities working M-F 8pm-8:30am and every other weekend.

Under supervision, performs work involving the care, services, and treatment of clients seeking services in Addictions and Restorative Justice (ARJ) facilities (Substance Use Disorder and/or criminogenic risk/needs/responsivity factors) or Mental Health Residential/Crisis (MHRC) facilities (Severe and Persistent Mental Illness or Crisis).
Essential Duties and responsibilities:

Supports, interacts with, and monitors residents within established policies and procedures, providing positive role modeling
Records observations relating to actions and behavior of residents and maintains records and reports as required
Performs general housekeeping and cleaning duties as needed
May organize and distribute clothing, bedding and other supplies
Provides medication monitoring or medication administration as outlined in specific program policies
Provides information concerning status of clients to external partners within established guidelines. Is mindful of confidentiality requirements specific to the program
Identifies emergencies or crisis situations and responds appropriately
Maintains awareness of clinical treatment plan and supports residents in achieving goals
Ability to work independently and problem solve efficiently
Attends staff meetings and participates in training activities as required
Maintains confidential client information and records
May assist with meal preparation and other life skills for residents
May assist with grocery shopping for the facility
May transport residents to meetings, services, appointments and other activities
May be responsible for collecting urine specimens for urinalysis and administering breathalyzer tests
May provide educational group activities for clients within program specified parameters.
May administer basic first aid as needed

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

JOB SUMMARY:
This is a boot on the ground, customer focused position that works closely with local farmers, municipalities, farming organizations, papermills, and the Wisconsin DNR to ensure compliancy of land applications. This position will work closely with Synagro operations with coordinating delivery of papermill residuals in a timely manner. To be successful in this role you will need excellent planning and time management skills as well as a good understanding of land sourcing, permitting, nutrient management and land mapping.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage existing land base inventory and procure additional land base to meet operational requirements and provide strategic growth for the business.
Prepare permit applications and NMP's as needed for land application sites. This may include soil, mill residuals, and biosolids sampling; analytical interpretation and waste characterization; geo-mapping services; interpretation of soil, tax and topographical maps; and review and interpretation of applicable regulations to determine land base acceptability and compliant product use.
Facilitate compliance and provide information as needed for all regulatory and permit requirements including, but not limited to, frequent monitoring and reporting as required by the WI Department of Natural Resources.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with current customers, farmers, and environmental regulatory agencies.
Contact farmers by phone and in-person to establish a new land base.
Provide support to Synagro Operations for pick-up, delivery, and land application of mill residuals and biosolids.
Participate in professional and agricultural organizations as assigned.
Provide technical information and serve as a brand advocate/ambassador to farmers, regulatory agencies, municipalities, clients, and the public.
Perform work in a safe manner while recognizing safety hazards and improving processes/procedures.

Job Description
The Senior Regulatory Expert is a recognized thought leader and subject matter expert (SME) who is responsible for driving Assent's objective of being a market leading software and services solution for a wide variety of customers and industries. This role requires a highly knowledgeable and experienced regulatory and sustainability subject matter expert to lead the development of best practices, whilst constantly influencing existing solutions and identifying business opportunities for Assent to develop new products in response to the regulatory and sustainability outlook. This role will work closely with internal teams as well as external stakeholders to provide expertise and guidance on highly complex and strategic directives that support Assent's value proposition and business goals.
Key Requirements & Responsibilities
* Be a trusted and known subject matter expert internally and externally, demonstrating depth and breadth of knowledge in several areas of product sustainability and regulatory compliance:
* Specific attention to regulatory and industry objectives for product regulatory programs (e.g., environmental compliance, Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR), global PFAS regulations, RoHS, REACH, Prop 65, TSCA, other materials compliance, LCA, Environmental Product Declarations, sustainable product initiatives, etc.)
* Keep abreast of regulatory, sustainability and industry-led developments and identify trends through ongoing monitoring and research of global standards and regulations as well as industry group engagement;
* Influence regulatory and sustainability industry progress and Assent's opportunities through proactive and ongoing trade association engagement, participation in working groups, relationship-building, developing/updating standards, and supporting events as a thought leader;
* Engage with the Product Management team to identify opportunities for Assent to develop impactful new products and software solutions by articulating regulatory compliance and sustainability market, customer and industry perspectives and building the business case in alignment with team and Assent goals;

* Support training programs and educational initiatives related to regulatory compliance, ESG and responsible sourcing topics
Qualifications

The Executive Sous Chef collaborates with the Executive Chef to oversee food production for all outlets, banquet events, and club functions, ensuring that quality and cost standards are consistently met. This role helps lead a strong, organized kitchen environment rooted in teamwork, consistency, and genuine hospitality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Collaborates with the Executive Chef on inventory management, pricing, cost controls, product ordering, requisitioning, and issuing supplies for food production.
Leads and supervises the kitchen staff under the Executive Chef's direction.
Leads the training and development of all BOH team members.
Collaborates with the Executive Chef to plan tasks, create work schedules, and assign duties.
Monitors and guides the daily work activities of the kitchen team.
Enforces sanitation and safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
Establishes and oversees controls to minimize food and supply waste and prevent theft.
Assists the Executive Chef in coordinating menu planning and production activities.
Ensures high standards of quality, cost, presentation, and flavor of prepared foods.
Maximizes productivity while ensuring the team maintains high quality standards.
Inspects kitchen equipment conditions and advises on necessary repairs, maintenance, and upkeep.
Assists with administrative tasks such as invoice coding, vendor selection, food costing, and staff scheduling.
Upholds and reinforces BOH systems and procedures to support a smooth, consistent operation.
Sets the tone for the team by being dependable, prepared, and on time.

Qualifications
College degree preferred.
Strong banquet experience is a plus.
3+ years of management experience, with 5+ years in culinary roles including supervisory experience (luxury hotel or golf resort experience is highly valued).
State-certified and/or Serve Safe certified.
Proven expertise in food control and operational efficiency, with the ability to lead and manage teams of 40+ members.
Exceptional multitasking abilities, a strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and the ability to solve problems and handle multiple tasks under pressure with minimal supervision.
Flexible and adaptable, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Professional demeanor with a positive attitude and excellent presentation.
Strong decision-making skills with a focus on achieving operational goals.
