Job Description
+ Driving a hi lo/forklift
+ Working in the shipping/receiving department
+ Loading and unloading products out of trucks
SHIFT: 1st shift (7am-3pm), 2nd (3pm-11pm), 3rd (11pm-7am)
PAY RATE: $16.00 (1st shift), $16.40 (2nd shift), $16.70 (3rd shift)
CONTRACT-TO-HIRE: ~120 days (performance based pay increases once direct + annual pay increases)
OVERTIME: Employees must be open to working every other weekend both Saturday and Sunday - Mandatory OT. 1.5x pay for OT after 40 hours ($24/hr+), 2x pay on Sundays ($32/hr+). Dependent on workload but must be comfortable with it because there may be long periods of time it is regulated.
***Must be able to train starting at 8:30am (usually lasts 2-3 days, could be up to a week)***

DUTIES:
The qualified employee must have or be able to obtain a Hi-Lo license. They must also be able to perform heavy labor when necessary. The forklift operators are responsible for ensuring all products shipped and received is properly recorded and stored.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under the direction of the Director of the Warehouse Supervisor or lead, the Hi-Lo Driver is responsible for safely operating electric powered industrial truck equipped with lifting devices such as forklift or elevating platform, to push, lift, stack, or move products or materials by performing the following duties. Also, responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect.
Responsibilites:
- Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, boxes, products, or materials and transports load to designated area
- Unloads and stacks material by using lifting device
- Inventories materials on work floor and in warehouse
- Loads or unloads materials onto/off pallets or lifting device
- Must be able to document information as per SOP
- Complies with company policies and procedures and maintains regular work attendance
- Personal responsibility for following safety rules, SOPs and cGMPs guidelines
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must comply with GMP requirements; specific functions and documents will be discussed in GMP and on the job training
- 1-2 years of hi-lo driving experience
- Must be able to read/write English
- Ability to work autonomously and use resources available to complete tasks timely
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours
- Must be able to work in a physically challenging environment
