Employee assists Painters, Machine Operators, Welders, Material Handlers, and Leadpersons in performance of their work. The Planner Position is assigned a series of commodities and/or services for which they are responsible for assuring that the requirements for these items are filled in a timely and cost-effective manner and that stocking levels are maintained within established guidelines. Conduit Assembler is responsible for assembling and fabricating conduits used in electrical systems. They follow blueprints, diagrams, and specifications to cut, bend, and assemble conduit parts. They use hand and power tools to measure, cut, and thread conduits, and then connect and secure them using various fittings and fasteners. Conduit Assemblers may also be responsible for testing and inspecting completed assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards and electrical codes. As a CNC Machine Operator, you will work either individually, or, as part of a small team, to produce Sheet Metal parts. You will be required to produce a variety of parts, all of which must meet the dimensional specifications of the mechanical engineered drawing. Employees within this classification will work primarily with CNC Press Brake, or CNC Turret Punch Press/Laser Cutting equipment. Powell Service Division is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Service Technician interested in joining one of the nation's leading providers of medium and low voltage switchgear. Powell Service Technicians are responsible for ensuring the end to end safety, quality and performance of Powell equipment across the US and Canada. This includes performing installations, preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, and periodic supervision of small crews. Senior service technicians are expected to service the west coast, gulf coast south, offshore and east coast service regions. Minimum Qualifications Minimum education level of a High School Diploma or General Education Equivalent Diploma is preferred. Ability to read a tape measure (including conversions from fraction to decimal and conversely from decimal to fraction and metric to imperial). Must have a basic command of the English language, both written and verbal. Basic knowledge of operating desktop computer. Safely use variety of hand/power tools. Lift up to 50lbs using proper lifting techniques. Preferred Qualifications Basic computer knowledge considered and asset. Prior ability or interest in building or repairing mechanical components considered an asset. Read and understand spec sheets and follow proper use of hardware by spec requirements.
