Seasonal Summer Role
Join our team as a Room Attendant, where your passion for cleanliness and attention to detail will shine as you meticulously prepare and maintain our guest rooms. Be the silent architect of memorable stays, ensuring that every corner sparkles with comfort and warmth for our valued guests.
Clean and tidy guest rooms, including making beds, vacuuming, dusting, and replenishing amenities.
Inspect and report any maintenance issues or damages in guest rooms to ensure prompt resolution.
Ensure compliance with hotel cleanliness standards and policies in all assigned areas.
Restock and maintain inventory of guest room supplies such as toiletries, linens, and towels.
Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests and ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
Qualifications
One-year Housekeeping experience
Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs. Mainly AM shifts.
Prior experience in a luxury hotel preferred

Disinfects surfaces in bathroom.
Replenishes supplies in rooms (glasses, stationary, soaps, shampoo, tissue, toilet paper, guest directories) and places clean towels on rack.
Vacuums each room and hallway.
Reports to the Executive Housekeeper all rooms vacated and clean, rooms occupied and clean, or any other discrepancies, or any unusual conditions of furniture or room repairs needed.
Maintain a clean and attractive work area, uniform, and person.
Should have knowledge of fire alarm and evacuation procedures.

* Checks out tools upon proper request.
* Has a comprehensive understanding of industrial grade tools.
* Completes requisite paperwork and makes necessary computer entries, if any, in order to effectively track tools.
* Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed.
* Assorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves or bins according to predetermined sequences such as size type, style, or color.
* Inspects tools upon return, tags faulty tools and sends to repair area for evaluation.
* Restock returned tools that do not require maintenance or repair to its proper location.
* Performs minor repairs or maintenance on tools and routine housekeeping task to maintain work area.
* Upon proper request, distributes disposable products, such as cleaning fluids, paint and other like products.
* Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required for this Position:
Education: no minimum education requirements.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in an industrial setting, required.
Must pass drug screen, as condition of employment.
This is a fulltime job working 40 hours a week (5/8's). No per diem.

Position Summary :
Hotel Housekeeping Attendants are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of guest areas by performing tasks such as changing bed linens, vacuuming carpets, dusting and sanitizing surfaces, replenishing amenities, reporting maintenance issues, and ensuring all items meet quality standards while adhering to established safety and sanitation procedures. Housekeeping Attendants must also always maintain a friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with guests and colleagues. Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Cleaning Guest & Staff Areas
Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, common areas, facilities, and other areas as assigned, including vacuuming and mopping floors, dusting, wiping down furniture, cleaning bathrooms and fixtures, removing trash and debris, and spot cleaning stains.
Supply Management
Ensuring the cleaning cart remains organized and always stocked with necessary supplies and linens. Restocking guest room amenities, such as toiletries, consumables and linen as needed.
Guest Interaction
Respond to guest requests for additional supplies or information in a friendly and professional manner. Respect guest privacy and handle personal belongings with care.
Maintenance & Safety
Identifying and reporting any maintenance issues promptly, such as broken fixtures or damaged furniture. Following established cleaning procedures and safety protocols.
Communication with Other Departments
Coordinating and communicating with other Housekeeping Attendants, Guest Service Agents, Maintenance, and all other Lakeside Chautauqua staff in a positive and professional manner.
Qualifications:
