JOB DESCRIPTION
Supervises work activities of cleaning personnel to ensure a clean, orderly, and attractive facility for patients, residents, visitors, and staff. This position is deemed safety-sensitive and will follow all policies associated with that distinction. Develops, interprets, and monitors standards of housekeeping
Assigns workers their duties and inspects work for conformance to prescribed standards of cleanliness
Investigate complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment, and take corrective action
Schedules maintenance jobs in addition to day-to-day work and ensures that it is completed
Inventories supplies to ensure an adequate stock
Makes recommendations to improve service and ensure more efficient operation
Create, update, and enforce department policies and procedures
Explain and enforce operational and personnel policies and procedures
Prepares and is responsible for performance to a budget
Recruits, coaches, counsels, and disciplines all personnel assigned to the Housekeeping Department
Conducts orientation training and in-service training to explain policies and procedures and demonstrate equipment use and maintenance
Ensures professionalism in the appearance and actions of staff
Performs annual performance evaluations on all personnel assigned to the Housekeeping Department
Contributes to a team effort by communicating information, responding to requests, building rapport, participating in team problem-solving methods, and acting as a liaison between the housekeeping staff and the other departments
Acts as the Chemical Safety Officer for the facility
Must be able to perform all duties of an Environmental Service Technician
Maintain confidentiality by protecting sensitive, proprietary, or confidential information. Adhere to HIPAA privacy and security requirements
Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols
Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required to maintain Infection Control Standards as set by the facility
Performs other related duties as assigned

WHAT YOU CAN DO FOR FCMC
Our Surgical Technicians help ensure the success of our surgeries by preparing for and assisting in a wide variety of surgical procedures in multiple specialties. More specifically, the Surgical Technicians' responsibilities include:
Preparing the surgical patient, including positioning, prepping, and draping

Medical Lab Scientist Duties & Responsibilities:
* Correctly collects and prepares human samples for analysis. Prepares, stores and transports samples using appropriate methods.
* Correctly and accurately performs a variety of tests in the clinical laboratory, including chemistry, hematology, microbiology culture plating, and serology/immunology.
* Completes annual competency assessment.
* Alters or adjusts methods and procedures for the neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient.
* Notifies ordering provider, charge nurse and/or patient of all critical lab results.
* Operates, calibrates, conducts performance checks, and maintains clinical laboratory instruments or equipment and documents results.
* Recognizes and corrects basic instrument malfunctions as able, initiates service call when needed.
* Performs and records all quality control procedures required for the tests assayed. Recognizes and responds to unacceptable quality control results. Notifies Laboratory Supervisor of unacceptable results and steps taken to resolve. Documents all corrective actions implemented.
* Observes established safety measures and Standard Precautions. Assists in preparing, reviewing and revising policies and procedures.
* Participates in continuing education.
* Complies with policies, procedures and documentation requirements to meet the standards of accrediting and/or regulatory agencies.
* Consults Laboratory Supervisor and/or Pathologist regarding unusual results.

Primary responsibilities including completion of the nutrition assessment, determination of the nutrition diagnosis, developing and implementing evidence-based nutrition intervention(s), and monitoring and evaluating the patient's progress, and communicating the nutrition care plan with other members of the care team by effective verbal and written communication. The RD provides evidence-based medical nutrition therapy to patients of varying acuity levels including management of enteral nutrition initiation and advancement when delegated authority by the primary service, per nutrition related protocols.
