Able to meet “in-field status” for the position with one of the following
- Colorado Department of Education License with endorsement in subject area
- Degree or 36 credits in subject area
- PRAXIS – passing the high school PRAXIS aligned to your content area
- Spanish speaking skills preferred.
What You’ll Do
- Embody the characteristics that the school wishes the students to uphold, especially respect, excellence, authenticity, curiosity, hard work, and professionalism.
- Provide Mathematics instruction and lead a daily homeroom.
- Serve as adviser for a group of students and their families, including regular communication, problem solving, and hosting quarterly family conferences.
- Provide instruction or coaching during June enrichment program for students
- Assist in student arrival and departure, transitions between class periods, and lunch periods.
Essential Job Functions
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the school and other facilities as needed.
Compensation & Schedule
- Annual Range $40,000 - $53,000 with signing bonuses ranging from $2,500-$5,000.
- Monday – Friday; Occasional evenings and weekends as needed
