EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Toxicology, Biology, Forensic Science, or a similar analytical science field and 2 years of experience; or Associate of Science in Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) with appropriate national certification
Leadership or supervisory experience required
Preference for candidates with familiarity with pipetting, extractions, automated liquid handler experience, EIA operation, and use of well plates
Preference for candidates with experience working with bodily fluids, such as urine and oral fluid
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to communicate effectively, orally, and in writing
Skilled in data entry with minimal errors
Ability to analyze, organize, and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines

Work will be performed in a laboratory environment and exposes the incumbent to normal laboratory hazards and chemicals, including biohazard materials

Responsibilities
* Participate in academic governance and leadership, including serving on the Academic Committee
* Lead their academic divisions
* Promote student learning, development, and success for all students, especially those in the division's programs
* Regularly convene and lead division faculty meetings
* Represent the division in their Academic Committee service
* Facilitate communication between academic/institutional leadership and division faculty
* Ensure ongoing division planning and assessment, both of student learning and operations, and propose divisional budgets aligned with assessment/planning
* Ensure implementation of college policies

Required Qualifications

* Knowledge and application in performance, pedagogy, music education, and worship studies.
* Supervise divisional activities such as new student auditions, recital hearings, juries, hiring adjuncts, etc., and maintain accurate records of results.
* Oversee/assign planning and communication for music events (e.g., Christmas Program, retreats, student recitals, ensemble concerts, and camps); work with the Media office to publicize divisional and college-wide music events.

Our Skill Assessment Specialists are child and family educators who provide assessment, education, training, and skill development to children with developmental disabilities and their families based on the requested outcomes identified. This a home visiting and community-based role within our CITE (
Community Integrated Training & Education)
Services program. Staff assess the child's skill levels and areas of need, create a treatment plan, followed by 12-18 months of weekly home visits to teach the suggested interventions to individuals and families.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree
Preferred Licensure/Certification (Specialty may include: Licensed Special Education Teacher, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, School Psychologist, Masters in Education, Masters in Psychology, Early Intervention Specialist, BCBA, ABA Therapist)
