Manages the radiation oncology's site daily operations including all clinical and non-clinical activities pertaining to staff and patients. Provides operational and financial oversight to the assigned network radiation oncology site(s) which can include hospital and/or physician practice(s). Is responsible for improving the radiation oncology's site patient satisfaction, operational efficiency, and productivity while providing cost savings and enhancing services. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: + Assesses and identify opportunities for improvement in the areas of operational and process improvement, including patient access, care alignment, patient satisfaction, and maximizing revenue. Identifies barriers and implements corrective action measures to ensure positive outcomes for the assigned radiation oncology site(s). (20%) + Develops, plans, and budgets on a strategic, tactical, and operational level for assigned radiation oncology site(s). (20%) + Supervises staff, resolves problems, and implements approved disciplinary action. Interviews, hires, trains, and conducts performance evaluations for staff assigned radiation oncology site(s). (20%) + Manages and monitors key financial and revenue cycle metrics, including staff hours, resource allocation, expense budget, patient volumes, and the revenue cycle process for the assigned radiation oncology site. (15%) + Manages all phases of onboarding and exit processes for the assigned radiation oncology site including providing support to new employees and physicians, establishing processes, and site preparation. (5%) + Manages all phases of exit process for the site including medical records processing, site breakdown, and staff assignments. (5%) + Trains new managers and employees at newly opened sites in policies and procedures. Provides ongoing guidance and support to all employees work at the assigned radiation oncology site. Responsibilities: + Serves as a liaison between patient food service and clinical nutrition to optimize patient care and patient satisfaction. + Appropriately addresses food and nutrition service issues and effectively resolves in a timely manner; anticipates service problems and proactively seeks to implement effective solutions. + Assists with the education, mentoring, and training of dietetic students/intern and new associates. + If required, edits menus accurately in accordance to diet order, preferences, age specific needs, and the Diet Manual guidelines. + If required, assume the responsibilities of the Diet Clerk + Provide ongoing direct patient care to include nutrition assessment, plans and evaluating outcomes. + Provide appropriate basic nutrition education based upon patient/family learning needs and abilities. + Participate in department based Quality Process Improvement activities. + Plans menus and nourishments with patients to meet individual nutrition care needs in accordance with diet order, patient preferences, and allergies/intolerances, keeping patient satisfaction as a priority. + Performs nutrition screening of patients and accurately assess nutrition risk levels per established criteria. Associate degree in dietetic technology or BS in Nutrition/Dietetics (must have completed a degree in the dietetics tract). 1 year experience preferred.
