Role Description Freight brokers put an incredible amount of trust in Highway and that trust will be extended to you. They expect a secure process and timely support for their carriers completing the process. The Application Operations Assistant Manager is responsible for ensuring Highway's operational processes and application are optimized at all times to ensure that onboards occur in a timely manner and in a secure fashion. Your responsibilities are to monitor the onboarding process and analyze and address escalated issues of operational efficiency within the application. Your role: The Application Operations Assistant Manager monitors Highway's onboarding flow and serves as an escalation point for any issues within the process to ensure security and optimal functioning of the application. Responsible for overseeing carrier identity verification and user authentication and authority to ensure secure implementation of Highway's Identity Engine and to prevent incidents of fraud. Gives oversight and direction to the Carrier support team that manages a high volume of support tickets and incoming phone calls, reviews response times by agents and works closely with the Operations Team in handling escalated cases that require additional oversight and review. Maintains the service of Highway's application through monitoring, analyzing and review of any issues to ensure minimal downtime in the application and the timely completion of onboards. Makes and suggests updates to the application as required to address system bugs and issues and to ensure the accurate operation of the application. Other duties include troubleshooting technical problems and providing individual solutions for users of Highway's application. Demonstrate responsiveness in responding to internal and external communication with the ability to manage multiple priorities at one time. Work cohesively with other members of the Highway Team in an effort to serve our customers well. Qualifications Prior experience working in an Application Operations team for a software company preferred. Technical aptitude and analytical problem solving skills. Experience with SQL and/or Microsoft Excel is preferred. Excellent communication skills and thrives in a fast paced and urgent environment. Highly organized with a proven track record of managing multiple priorities within a deadline driven atmosphere- demonstrating high critical thinking skills and ability to make business decisions under pressure. Must be comfortable directing the support team in regards to how to handle escalations that arise and fixes that may be required in the company's application. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Business Administration highly preferred. Transportation and logistics background is a plus.

Position will be required to use all types of manual machine tools such as lathes and threaders. Work also includes operation of the machines and crane to move pipe in and out of machining centers. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent desired Previous experience with machinery is desired Scope of Responsibilities 1st Responsibility - Ensuring personal safety and the safety of your team members. Assists supervisors and managers in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment. Wears appropriate PPE which may include fall protection, respiratory protection, hearing protection, foot, hand, head and eye protection. Responsible for cleanliness of the assigned work area as well as maintaining a safe and clean work environment. Proactively promotes the McWane Way principles. Follow all processes and procedures associated with the Clear Water Safety Management Program. Advise management of any deviations from this program. Identify fabrication requirements for each piece of pipe Place pipe in machine, center the pipe, and tighten for work. After the pipe is in place, the operator will machine tapered threads into the pipe. During this process, the machine operator is responsible for verifying measurements, such as thread depth and correct taper. After the threads are cut the operator tests the flange to make sure it screws onto the pipe properly. Applies glue on pipe and flange and uses the machine to tighten the flange onto the pipe. For Threaders - Remove pipe from machine and move to next processing operation. For Lathes - run the cutting tool across the surface of the face of the flange to flush fit the flange onto the pipe Operator I will work with pipe and flanges primarily from 3” to 6” in diameter, and lengths from 4 inches to 18 feet long. Operator will be proficient with quality and able to meet prescribed production output objectives for the work center.     The Railcar Processor, under the direction of the Henderson Shipping Manager, is responsible for assisting in the receipt and transfer of bulk raw materials at the Tyler Pipe Henderson Transload facility. This role involves safely unloading materials from railcars and loading them onto shipping trucks for distribution to the Tyler Pipe Texas foundry plant. This position is based in Henderson, TX. Safely climb onto and beneath railcars to connect and disconnect transfer lines, ensuring the efficient movement of materials. Safely operate company vehicles in compliance with company driving policies. Utilize a variety of heavy equipment to safely transfer raw materials from railcars, trucks, or the shipping yard. Perform routine maintenance on pneumatic transfer systems, including inspections and basic repairs. Conduct preventive maintenance on mobile equipment, including oil changes, lubrication, and filter replacements. Maintain shipping yard facilities by performing general tasks such as mowing, landscaping, painting, plumbing, and carpentry. Keep work areas clean and organized, ensuring a safe and compliant working environment. Adhere to all safety protocols (particularly rail safety), wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintain clean and safe work areas. While the above responsibilities will be the primary focus of this job, the company reserves the right to assign additional duties as necessary to meet operational needs. Qualifications Comfortable working at heights of 10' - 20', with required fall protection training. Basic mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting skills. Ability to operate heavy equipment; willingness to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) if required. Strong teamwork mindset, with a proactive approach to supporting various tasks.
