ESSENTIAL DUITES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Reviews leases, unit designations, operating agreements, title opinions and other related contracts and documents to set up Division of Interests in P2 Domain for proper payment of royalties on new and existing company operated properties while limiting exposure to interest, penalties, fines and other liabilities
Set up and maintain joint interest billing decks as requested by Accounting
Reviews mineral title ownership along with deeds, wills and other legal documents to process changes of ownership in P2 Domain
Responds to owner inquiries to resolve any issues with regard to verification and explanation of interests in a timely and professional manner
Review, research and provide recommendations for suspense funds ledger and interest payments, if applicable
Coordinates with the Business Units to obtain title opinions and related instruments to address curative issues
Evaluate and execute recommendations in the monthly E-calendar, such as minimum royalty payments and cash-in-lieu provisions
Effectively and cooperatively interfaces with other departments within the company, including but not limited to, Business Units and Accounting.
Assist with special projects such as data audits and acquisition and divestitures to confirm accuracy of data and compliance within state and federal statutes

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Experience with well setups in Oklahoma is strongly preferred.
Experience with a land management software system, preferably Tobin Land System or P2 Land.
