Requirements for Environmental Services Tech/Housekeeper:
One year experience in a similar position is preferred
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Must be able to work around chemicals
Must be a team player with strong customer service skills and able to multi-task
Responsibilities of Housekeeper:
Responsible to dust, vacuum , and sanitize all furniture, fixtures, flooring, on site. This included project cleaning and emergency clean ups
Maintain cleaning schedule for assigned areas, will document any damage noted in apartments or common areas and will report damage to the ES Director or Administrator
Ensures all cleaning equipment is used properly and will assist in maintaining the quality condition of that equipment
Communicate to the Director any inventory needs
Shall be knowledgeable of the appropriate use of chemicals, and responsible for keeping them locked on cart when not in use
Will assist in watering and pruning live plants in their assigned area

Duties:
* Proper cleaning and disinfecting of livestock trailers
* Cleaning of pits and wash bays
* Washing of clothes and towels
* Communicate effectively with the Truck Wash Supervisor and other Wash and dry bay Staff
* Follow all wash Standard Operating Procedures
* Perform light duty maintenance as needed
* Inform Truck Wash Supervisor of equipment issues
* Suggest, plan, and implement Standard Operating Procedures
* Assist in providing a safe work environment
* Provide feedback to Truck Wash Supervisor
* Assist Truck Wash Supervisor in ordering supplies to maintain appropriate inventory
* Care and maintenance of equipment
Qualifications:
Position requires a minimum lifting ability of 50 lbs. Ideal candidates will be dependable, able to learn new tasks and follow directions, and work with minimal supervision. Position requires strong attention to detail.
Schedule:
Full time - Day time hours with occasional overtime.

The Housekeeper position performs a variety of general manual labor tasks (e.g., sweeping and cleaning floors and work areas, assisting in the handling of heavy materials, making minor repairs, cleaning, dusting, washing windows, moving and polishing furniture and equipment). Follows specific processes and procedures to maintain the buildings, facilities and grounds. Has advanced skills, typically gained through a combination of job-related training and work experience. Works autonomously within established procedures and practices. Has developed a specialized level of skill to perform assigned tasks
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Basic computer skills
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Age: 18 years or older
