Pros of working at Hillcrest Nursing

The residents. They made working there worth going through the bad treatment behind closed doors. I loved the residents and advocated for them to the point I was viewed as the enemy by management.

Cons of working at Hillcrest Nursing

No leadership, to consequences for wrongdoing, no accountability, poor quality of care for residents despite my multiple complaints and suggestions for improving quality of care, poor treatment of staff, understaffed constantly due to poor training techniques and length of training, infection control training/follow up was a nightmare, and management expected you to always work OT without complaint while they went home on time everyday. Management would not find coverage at times leaving floor nurses no choice but to stay at work for 16 hours, but Management clocked out on time.
