EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
Must be 18 years of age or older. Person's 16 years of age or older will be considered, based on hours available.
One year minimum experience in an early childhood setting is preferred, or a strong desire to work with young children may be considered.
Free from a conviction or prior employment history of child or resident abuse or dependent adult abuse.
Must complete CPR, First Aid, Universal Precautions, Mandatory Reporting, Better Kid Care NSO, and Essentials Child Care Preservice Series in the first three months of employment and 10 contact hours of child related training annually.
Valid driver's license and ability to drive agency vehicles, as assigned.

Part-time Description
Provides support and assistance to the Cedar Memorial Licensed Funeral Directors in bringing deceased individuals into the care of the funeral home. This position would be on-call from 5:00 PM to 7:30 AM one to two nights per week.
Duties/Responsibilities:
On an as-needed (on-call) basis, accompanies the Licensed Funeral Director to the place of death (home, hospital, care facility, other locations).
Transports deceased body to the funeral home from hospitals, homes, or other locations.
Follows the direction of the Licensed Funeral Director to assist with the removal of the deceased respectfully, compassionately, and professionally.
At the request of the Funeral Director, may drive to the place of death, which could be a significant distance, in various weather conditions.
Provides exceptional customer service to families, medical staff, and Associates.
Follows company safety policies and procedures.
Maintains a safe driving record in accordance with Cedar Memorials' insurance policy.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Job Objective:
The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to staff and customers at reporting location and all other Five Star Cooperative locations. Duties include but are not limited to providing excellent customer service to members and customers, handling a variety of clerical and transactional duties, and ensuring efficient office operations. The incumbent maintains detailed recordkeeping including work orders, payments, contracts, billing, inventory and other required reporting. This position will also be responsible for weighing trucks, as well as sampling and accurately grading all incoming and outgoing grain to assure accurate pricing of grain to customers. This position is responsible for the promotion and sales of goods and services across all departments. Incumbent maintains a safe and clean environment.
The incumbent will be expected to assist other locations and departments assigned by management. Will communicate availability regularly and assist with projects as needed.
Essential Tasks
Weigh, sample, and grade all incoming and outgoing grain according to specifications provided
Supports seasonal harvest activities with extended-hour administrative tasks as required
Takes fuel orders and assists with delivery scheduling accordingly
Processes service tickets, delivery documentation, and billing for energy customers
Maintains accurate customer records, tank information, and service history
Supports routing, customer inquiries, and seasonal energy programs
Maintains an accurate inventory of all parts and products at the location
Assists with billing, contracts, recordkeeping and filing for various departments
Will cross train and serve as a backup for all administrative duties within the location
Will serve as a point person for customers of all departments
Strong organizational, problem solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow
Enforce and uphold the cooperative's credit policy
Greets customers, vendors, members, and employees professionally
Checks with other departments to see if help is needed before going home

Requirements
Education: High School Diploma required; Post High school training at the college or vocational level
Experience:
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills necessary
Computer skills required - Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
