As a Hillsboro Link driver , you will play a vital role in providing safe and dependable transportation services to all using public transportation in our community. What You'll Do Safely transport customers to and from their destinations along a dedicated fixed route. Transport customers according to the schedule and instructions given by the Program Manager. Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle if needed, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the journey. Provide friendly and respectful customer service, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations, and exercise caution while driving, especially when transporting passengers with mobility challenges. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, including monitoring and maintaining proper vehicle fuel levels. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record A minimum of 5 years driving experience as recorded by the Department of Motor Vehicles. Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds safely and secure wheelchairs safely in enclosed spaces. Ability to access reliable transportation.
