ABOUT THE JOB

What will I be doing?
As a Senior Event Operations Manager, you would be responsible for leading a team of staff in the Banquet and Catering operations.
Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Executes all aspects of the written Event Order, Diagram, Resume and corresponding arrangements between the hotel and customer during the meeting or event.

This is a union role and the hourly rate is $29.90 per hour. This position is for an on-call Houseperson.
What will I be doing?
As a Houseperson you would be responsible for executing your position's responsibilities in alignment with our Spirit of Service culture and driving company success through performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
* Provide customer service to guests, including information about resort services, activities and local attractions
* Transport clean and dirty linen to and from Operations and the Buildings.
* Make sure that all items delivered to the guest rooms are clean and in working order
* Reports maintenance deficiencies in order to maintain room in compliance with resort standards
* Replenish linen and guest amenities
* Assist co-workers as requested
* Work in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment, flexible with spontaneous demands from guests and for business needs

The Front Desk Night Auditor position is leading all aspects of the auditing, posting and balancing of daily financial transactions to support the resort continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. You will be responsible for driving company success through performing the following activities to the highest standards:
* Follows proper audit procedures to balance daily revenue and expense transactions, identifies the causes of out-of-balance situations in a timely manner, produces various reports for management and takes initiative to correct errors to prevent recurrence.
* Ensure that all charges have been properly posted to the appropriate guest folio or master account, balanced with all supporting documentation
* Reconciles all charges to the general ledger. Prepares back-up files and closes out shift and day on reservation system, including preparing system for next day of business.
* Generates housekeeping reports and prints folios departures.
* Compiles daily revenue reports and files work accordingly.
* Responsible for accurate management of cash funds and daily shift deposits.
* Assist with Front Office duties and is the overnight guest service agent.
* Calculates account balance at month-end and submits to accounting.
* Processes reservation advance deposits from receipt of reservation information to depositing and logging all monies.
* Performs all Front desk duties including check-in, check-out and cashier procedures in a proper and efficient manner.
* Assists with guests and owner needs and requests always delivering outstanding hospitality.
* Assists with other departmental duties such as bell standing, answering phones, etc.
* Reports any unresolved problems with owners and guests to management. The

What are we looking for?
* High School diploma/GED
* Proficient English language, able to communicate both verbally and in writing.
* Open and flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
* Customer service or similar related experience.
Preferred, but not required:
* Associate's degree/College Degree
* 1 year auditing experience
* Resort hospitality experience.
