Our family owned and operated company is currently seeking a Door and Hardware Project Detailer to join our team in our Prairieville Location! The Detailing Department is the lifeline of our growing business. This position is scheduled Monday -Thursday 7am - 4:30pm and Friday 7am - 3:30pm. Job Responsibilities Manage newly awarded project information through Smartsheets and the company's software (Comsense) related documents folder. Proactively contact customers through email and phone to obtain project information Key Construction dates, contact information, etc. and insert all relevant information currently available Identify and organize missing documents (plans, specs, quotes) Detail newly awarded projects including: Review of contract documents including plans and specifications Accurately detail opening information, review costs and quotations, note scope gaps, verify code requirements, offer solutions to meet customer needs. Review opening handing, drawing door and frame elevations, lite kit sizing, reviewing doors/frames/hardware specifications. Prepare shop drawing, schedules and submittals using approved manufacturer's catalogs Review schedules and returned submittals for accuracy and completeness of contract & scope. Collaborate with contractor, architect and project managers to ensure critical needs are met related to schedules, budget, changes & overall positive customer experience Preferred Experience Experience reading plans & specifications. Experience using industry specific Detailing software (Comsense or Pro-tech) Familiar with Commercial Construction Industry Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age.
