Coordinate safety training sessions for plant personnel and maintain accurate training and safety records. Assist in the investigation of workplace accidents, injuries, and near-miss events, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions. Perform and document regular safety inspections of equipment, including PPE, fire safety systems, chemical storage, material handling, and emergency response equipment. Prepare reports and document non-compliant conditions, including safety hazards, and ensure corrective actions are implemented. Participate in emergency planning, safety drills, and real-world emergency events as required. Collaborate with plant managers and supervisors to develop and review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), ensuring safe work practices.
