Job Responsibilities
Sets up, starts and runs all machinery
Weighs ingredients to meet recipe specification and inserts into machinery, or ensures the correct ingredients are delivered to the work area and inserts pre-blended materials into machinery
Monitors production and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. Troubleshoots equipment and processing issues
Operates machinery to mix, extrude/discharge or handle materials
May take samples of materials to lab for evaluation and instructions on any batch adjustments if needed
Performs all required machine cleaning
Documents work completed as required including logs, data reports, procedures, etc
Requires standing and sitting for extended periods of time, talking and listening

Key Responsibilities:
Load yarn packages onto creel racks and ensure correct color and lot alignment per production specifications.
Tie or splice new yarn ends to minimize downtime during production.
Monitor yarn supply during weaving and replace empty packages as needed.
Inspect yarns for breaks, tangles, or defects and correct issues promptly.
Maintain clean, organized creel areas and ensure proper labeling of yarn lots.
Assist weaving operators with warp changes and machine setup when needed.
Follow all safety and housekeeping standards in the production area.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a textile manufacturing environment preferred.
Ability to identify yarn types, colors, and lot numbers accurately.
