    Hirevue 4.1company rating

Hirevue job in South Jordan, UT or remote

Hirevue is where hiring happens - transforming the way organizations discover, engage, and hire the best talent. Connecting companies and candidates anytime, anywhere, Hirevue's end-to-end hiring platform features video interviewing, assessments and conversational AI. The industry leader in science backed, modern hiring solutions powered by ethical AI, Hirevue has hosted more than 70 million video interviews and 200 million chat-based candidate engagements for over 1200 pioneering customers around the globe. Job Description ✨ Accounting Manager - Own the Close. Build the Function. Shape What Comes Next. ✨ Ready to step into a role where you help build a modern SaaS finance engine? We're looking for an Accounting Manager who loves solving problems, improving processes, and turning complexity into clarity. If you thrive in environments with room to create-and want meaningful ownership without unnecessary layers-this is your playground. Qualifications What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Public accounting experience is required (minimum 2+ years ). This role relies on the technical rigor, ownership mindset, and judgment developed in public accounting. 7+ years of total accounting experience , spanning public accounting and/or industry. CPA strongly preferred , but not required. Big Four experience preferred , but not required. Strong operational accounting experience and comfort working in evolving environments. Solid knowledge of GAAP, tax, and financial reporting . Experience with modern accounting systems ( NetSuite a strong plus ). Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS). Clear communicator with a mindset for continuous improvement. Comfortable building processes where none exist-and refining them as the business scales. Why This Role Stands Out This isn't a “keep the lights on” accounting job. You'll own the month-end close , influence how our finance function operates, and help shape the next phase of a growing SaaS company-without excessive hierarchy or people management. This role is intentionally designed to work well for: An ambitious accounting professional with a few years of experience who wants broader exposure, ownership, and a seat closer to decision-making, or A deeply experienced accountant who enjoys hands-on work and impact but doesn't want a role overloaded with management complexity or constant fire drills. If you're someone who values clarity, accountability, and doing things right , you'll find this role both grounding and energizing. What You'll Own Lead core accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, and GAAP compliance . Review sales orders and assess revenue recognition and taxability . Prepare and analyze the trial balance and monthly financial reporting package . Manage global tax and regulatory compliance , including VAT, withholding, and statutory audits. Serve as a technical accounting resource-reviewing work, answering questions, and raising the bar for quality. Partner closely with FP&A to ensure timely, accurate financial reporting and variance analysis. Identify and implement process improvements that make the function scalable and efficient. Support ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as the business evolves. The Bottom Line If you have public accounting experience , strong technical fundamentals, and either: the ambition to grow quickly through ownership, or the experience to contribute at a high level without wanting excess responsibility, this role offers the best of both worlds. This role is not the right fit if: You are early in your accounting career and have not yet developed a strong technical foundation through public accounting experience . You are looking for a role that is purely strategic with minimal hands-on execution-this position is deeply involved in the day-to-day accounting work. You prefer highly structured environments with established processes and detailed playbooks already in place. You are seeking a role with heavy people management or a large direct-report team. You are uncomfortable working in environments where priorities evolve , judgment is required, and solutions aren't always obvious. You are looking for a narrow, repetitive scope rather than broad ownership across the close, reporting, and compliance . Additional Information All team members at Hirevue are expected to embody our core values, which are the H.E.A.R.T. of Hirevue. They are: Hero for our Customers, Enjoy the Journey, Always do the Right Thing, Reach Forwards, and Take Action and Go. This position is a work-from-home role, but you must reside in the United States. The individual in this role must be able to work from home in an environment free from distractions, where they can attend virtual video meetings. Hirevue takes security seriously and has measures in place to protect work-related data in a remote setting. Our organization has implemented a BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) policy, HireVue uses Google User Enrollment, which ensures personal apps and data are kept separate from work apps and data should you choose to use your personal device for work purposes. HireVue can manage only the work-related aspects of the device, ensuring privacy for personal data. Medical, dental and vision insurance | 401(k) with employer match up to 4% | Unlimited Paid Time Off Click Here for more information on US Benefits Hirevue is committed to equal treatment and opportunity in all aspects of recruitment, selection, and employment. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other category protected under the law. HireVue is an equal opportunity employer; committed to a community of inclusion, and an environment free from discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. Hirevue Inc. job in South Jordan, UT or remote

Hirevue is where hiring happens - transforming the way organizations discover, engage, and hire the best talent. Public accounting experience is required (minimum 2+ years). This role relies on the technical rigor, ownership mindset, and judgment developed in public accounting. 7+ years of total accounting experience, spanning public accounting and/or industry. CPA strongly preferred, but not required. Big Four experience preferred, but not required. Strong operational accounting experience and comfort working in evolving environments. Solid knowledge of GAAP, tax, and financial reporting. Experience with modern accounting systems (NetSuite a strong plus). You'll own the month-end close, influence how our finance function operates, and help shape the next phase of a growing SaaS company-without excessive hierarchy or people management. If you're someone who values clarity, accountability, and doing things right, you'll find this role both grounding and energizing. What You'll Own Lead core accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, and GAAP compliance. Review sales orders and assess revenue recognition and taxability. Prepare and analyze the trial balance and monthly financial reporting package. Manage global tax and regulatory compliance, including VAT, withholding, and statutory audits. The Bottom Line If you have public accounting experience, strong technical fundamentals, and either: the ambition to grow quickly through ownership, or the experience to contribute at a high level without wanting excess responsibility, this role offers the best of both worlds. This role is not the right fit if: You are early in your accounting career and have not yet developed a strong technical foundation through public accounting experience. You are looking for a role that is purely strategic with minimal hands-on execution-this position is deeply involved in the day-to-day accounting work. You prefer highly structured environments with established processes and detailed playbooks already in place. You are seeking a role with heavy people management or a large direct-report team. You are uncomfortable working in environments where priorities evolve, judgment is required, and solutions aren't always obvious. You are looking for a narrow, repetitive scope rather than broad ownership across the close, reporting, and compliance. • Accounting Manager | Fully Remote USA

Hirevue job in South Jordan, UT or remote

✨ Accounting Manager - Own the Close. You'll own the month-end close, influence how our finance function operates, and help shape the next phase of a growing SaaS company-without excessive hierarchy or people management.
