Job Requirements

The Design Consultant's main responsibility is to provide both customer service and suggestive selling to clientele, as well as help with day-to-day operations of the Showroom.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Offers suggestions to clients pertaining to pattern, color, etc.
Coordinates special products and assignments for clientele
Educates and inspires Design clientele in creative applications of trim

Generate and process reserves, sales quotes, and orders
Place and follow up on customer orders; work with internal Support Teams to troubleshoot client issues and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction

Utilize client outreach, sales techniques, cross-selling, and sales reports to develop and implement a sales strategy and help reach the overall sales goal.
Organizes showroom and trimming displays as necessary
Provide customer service to clientele, including order processing, customer follow-up, and customer inquiries.
Support outside salesperson with scheming requests incurred from road
Build a strong customer following and fellowship through consistent delivery of the highest quality product and client service.
Be a market expert; current with interior design trends, the key players in the industry, clients specific to your territory, and local events.

Key Responsibilities
Safely operate company delivery vehicles (typically box trucks up to 26') to transport plumbing/HVAC materials to customer sites and company branches.
Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment (hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.).
Verify delivery accuracy and obtain required signatures/documentation.
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform vehicle inspections.
Assist in the warehouse with pulling, staging, or restocking materials as needed.

Job Summary - Branch Manager Trainee
This is a fast-track program with the expectation that you will be eligible to become an Assistant Branch Manager in 1-2 years. As a Branch Manager Trainee, you will be trained in all aspects of branch sales, operations, and administration as well as provided extensive experience working in the wholesale plumbing industry. You will be working in a distribution warehouse environment.

In this role, you will handle live plants shipped on delivery racks, stock and service the displays, communicate regularly with coworkers and store personnel regarding the needs and of your assigned garden centers.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain a sales-ready appearance for plants and displays.
Ensure plants are merchandised and empty racks are removed.
Rotate merchandise and sign products with correct pricing.
Dispose of and record scrap of PBS plants that have passed their prime selling condition.
Work cooperatively with vendors and retail associates to maintain the best possible appearance of the product we provide.
Assist with resets, displays, and special events.
Communicate effectively with Altman Plants merchandisers and supervisors.
Provide feedback and inventory updates to internal teams.
Be responsive to communication while on the clock.
Complete inventory cycle counts as directed.
Review sales reports to ensure product flow meets goals.
Work assigned schedules, including weekends and holidays.
Adhere to a consistent service call scheduled for assigned stores.
Follow all safety guidelines and use equipment safely.
Keep work areas clean and safe.
Use tools like pallet jacks, pruners, ladders, etc.
Follow all company SOPs.
Execute tasks as instructed by supervisors.
Assist in the training of new team members within your assigned location.
Use cell phone for job-related tasks like clocking in/out, store check-in/out, taking photos, and completing tasks.
Qualifications:
Positive attitude and teamwork skills.
Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Capable of working independently with a strong sense of responsibility.
Reports to work timely and as scheduled.
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds frequently.
Comfortable working in various weather conditions.
Proof of Driver's License and Auto Insurance
Reliable transportation to and from assigned stores.
Clean DMV driving record
Proficiency with mobile apps for clocking in/out and task completion

Pushing of loaded and empty delivery racks daily
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
Frequent kneeling, stooping, bending, and standing for long periods.

Outdoor work in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.).
Budgeted hours vary by season and are affected by weather and sales demands
Exposure to dust, soil, wind, uneven pavement and moving mechanical parts.
Moderate noise levels.
