This position is 100% outdoors driving/moving the new vehicles around our yard. We require a valid drivers license with a good driving record and you must be able to pass a drug test and background check. AWC pays weekly and we are an amazing family company! Competitive pay starting at $32.00 per hour with pay increases based on the collective bargaining agreement. Summary Job requirements include Yard Up-fitter and Rail functions. Yard: move vehicles from Plant Release Gate to yard bays, pull vehicles from yard bays to load lines for haul-away carriers. Up-fitter Function: Driveunits to and from up-fitters, inspect units before and after delivery. Rail: Safely driving vehicles onto or off railcars wearing PPE, securing vehicles to railcars according to manufacturer and American Association of Railroad standards, and preparing railcars for transportation.
