Schedule: Part-Time, 24 Hours a week, mid shift 3PM-8PM, rotating weekends and holidays Responsible for accurately and timely accessioning and tracking, processing, and testing all types of surgical, cytological and autopsy tissues and fluids. Additional duties include completing tasks, preventive maintenance, quality control and providing customer service. The individual will receive on the job training to perform specific technical histology functions under the general supervision of a qualified histotechnician II / histotechnologist or higher. This position can also be used for individuals who recently graduated a NACCLS accredited histotechnology program and have not obtained their ASCP certification.
