Updates automotive computerized equipment. Inventory & Clerical Support Maintains and updates inventory of tools, special service kits, equipment, stock items, and vehicles. Monitors disbursements, orders needed items, and obtains bid offers on new equipment. Utilizes college approved contractors to ensure proper handling and disposal of waste oil and other hazardous materials. Use college approved methods of handling recycling materials. Keeps accurate records. Completes and maintains required documentation, including inventory reports, equipment maintenance records, work orders, and requisitions. Program Support Assists instructors. Obtains and returns training materials, sets up vehicles and other training aids, and arranges chairs, tables, and equipment. Assist with breaking down labs and putting away tools and training aids when class is over, if necessary. Answers routine questions, gives automotive lab tours, provides general information, and performs other duties to maintain good public and student relations.
