The Administrator is a member of the administrative services team and reports to the Office Manager. This position supports all administrative needs at the Headquarters office. The ideal candidate presents a positive attitude and is eager to provide client and guest hospitality. The key to this position is attention to detail, time-management, organization, and a sense of urgency in providing service to internal and external clients.
This position works with many of HITT's executive leadership team members and is expected to present a professional demeanor, maintain confidentiality and discretion, and utilizes a sense of urgency when working with these team members. In addition, the ideal candidate for this position will be a problem-solver who is proactive and comfortable working at a fast pace while maintaining a calm demeanor.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Execute requests for Headquarters catering and coffee services as part of the concierge service.
Maintain pantry operations and supplies.
Maintain all Headquarters flex desks to ensure cleanliness and supplies as needed. Communicate deficiencies to the Office Manager and the Facilities manager.
Maintain all Headquarters common areas, including print stations, conversational areas, flex desks, conference rooms, and break rooms; ensure cleanliness and supplies as needed. Run dishwashers weekly, or as needed.
Book conference rooms or flex desks for team members as needed.
Manage mail services for Headquarters, including distributing mail, assigning mailboxes, preparing shipping, and manage postage; order and maintain materials needed.
Coordinate outgoing deliveries via courier, UPS, and Federal Express, ensuring pick-up and drop-off execution.
Monitor and maintain printer / copier supplies for Headquarters and troubleshoot as needed.
Provide production and printing services as assigned by the Office Manager and Marketing Team.
Provide administrative support (set-up, printing, agendas, coordination of catering request, etc.) for all meetings requested by members of one of HITT's governance committees, as directed by the Office Manager.
Provide basic clerical services as requested by members of one of the governance committees, including drafting / editing / proofing correspondence, packaging, basic typing, filing, and copying / scanning.
Contribute to corporate and internal event support as needed.
Prepare promotional materials in support of governance committee members as needed.
Provide receptionist desk coverage as needed.
Provide marketing production support and promotional inventory.
Assist the Marketing department with CRM support.
Order and organize all catering and office supplies.
Maintain materials creation for new team member orientation welcome bags in support of HITT University.
Installs and removes office and cubicle signatures for new hires or relocations. The Administrator is responsible for reporting to the Office Manager any discrepancies found between physical layout and Staffmap.
Pulls information from New Hire Onboarding report and prepares PPE needed for local and regional new hires.
Collects and prepares the shipment of PPE to regional new team members and ensures that items are shipped timely to guarantee arrival before orientation day.
QUALIFICATIONS
A high school degree is required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Outlook, is required
Knowledge of basic clerical and administrative procedures is required
Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
Intermediate reading, writing, and communication skills
This position is fully on-site and is not eligible for remote work.

The Role:
The Planner supports projects over $100 million by creating baseline and progress schedules for various stages of the project, gives technical and practical input on all project schedules and prepares and analyzes updates.
Responsibilities:
Provide advanced level scheduling support to assigned projects
Manage the schedules for more than one project

The Role:
This position works with the Superintendent and Project Manager to administer, direct, and implement compliance with the Corporate Safety and Health policies and procedures to ensure the achievement of Company standard operating procedures and goals for Safety and Health Plan. This position is responsible for the overall safety procedures on a project specific level or as assigned to multiple project sites within a region or sector.

Qualifications:

The MEP Project Manager is responsible for managing, field inspections, problem solving, and coordinating all necessary Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection project resources and documentation throughout the entire project lifecycle. Obtain approvals and sign-offs from all Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs)
Support retail and tenant fit-out activities where applicable
Prepare and complete MEP punch lists and work lists
Organize owner training sessions and manage project turnover
Liaise with public utility companies to meet project requirements, including temporary services (electrical, steam, natural gas)
Direct and coordinate all parties to successfully complete life safety inspections
Ensure accurate electrical requirements for mechanical systems and verify alignment between drawings and specifications

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Sustainability, Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
LEED Green Associate credential required; LEED AP BD+C credential strongly preferred.

Familiarity with LEED v4 and v5 requirements; experience with WELL, LBC, NZE, NZC, Green Globes, or other rating systems is a plus.

Responsibilities
Responsible for hands-on job cost accounting for multiple projects to include Subcontractor AP processing, Client invoicing, and budgeting
Maintain detailed knowledge of all costs related to each project
Actively involved with Project Management team to ensure they get the direction/support needed
Ensure existing Project Accounting and all Company Policies and Procedures are effectively communicated and enforced
Be aggressive, but tactful, in communicating/discussing/resolving accounting related problems with team, striving to correct problems in a timely manner
Actively monitor projects from a risk management perspective and elevate as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required
2-5 years Construction or project-related accounting desired
Must be a self-starter, highly motivated, and able to work independently.
Ability to multi task
Able to prioritize while working in a fast paced environment. Detail, rule and goal oriented
Proficient in Microsoft Office and exposure to ERP systems or comparable business software. JD Edwards experience a plus.

Commercial Construction Assistant Superintendent - Corporate InteriorsJob Description:
The Assistant Superintendent (Assistant Supt.) supports managing work flow consistent with the project schedule, communicates project priorities to field staff and subcontractors, maintains daily log/report of all activities and site conditions, and manages the punch list and closeout process through owner/architect acceptance. The Assistant Supt. understands and administers the HITT safety program to include all subcontractors, ensures that all accidents/incidents are promptly reported and investigated, and assists in safety inspection by outside agencies. The Assistant Supt. assists in planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the building aspects of each project in order to meet budget, quality, time and safety objectives.
Responsibilities
Work with project manager in formulating project schedule, ensure that the proper methods and sequence of installation are followed, makes and follows through with schedule commitments
Maintain HITT quality standards for all aspects of the project
Maintain good working relationship with all subcontractors on the project, develop relationships within the community that enhances business opportunities, and ensure subcontractors are treated fairly.
Ensure complete, accurate daily documentation of work orders/tickets, understand subcontractor scope of work to avoid unnecessary change orders, and identify problems early and act immediately to provide solutions.
Develop and organize the site team, arrange for temporary facilities/utilities for the site, and identify long lead items that need to be expedited
Qualifications
High school diploma required, four-year degree from an accredited university with a concentration in construction, engineering, or business is strongly preferred.
2-5 years' experience in commercial construction, including experience with a commercial general contractor
Tenant renovations, service work, work in occupied spaces, weekend work, fast paced project experience all a plus
Project lead experience a plus

Senior Associate, Robotics Software EngineerJob Description:
The Research & Development Department's mission is to set the industry standard by finding new materials, methods, and technologies to change the built environment and how we work.
The R&D Robotics Software Engineer (Systems Integration) will be responsible for seamlessly integrating disparate software and hardware components to build autonomous robotics solutions that must operate reliably in challenging real-world environments. This team member will support robotics initiatives from concept through completion and coordinate across interdisciplinary teams, including project teams, consultants, hardware developers, software developers, and subcontractors. This team member will report to the R&D Robotics Lead and serve on an interdisciplinary team conducting research and developing novel robotics solutions for construction.
The ideal candidate will excel at tackling highly complex integration challenges that simultaneously address software, hardware, networking, and user interface considerations and constraints. They will have a deep understanding of the state-of-the-art in field robotics, perception sensors, and networking hardware and protocols. They will be comfortable learning and integrating new APIs, open-source software packages, and technical standards to bring together disparate technology components into a reliable and seamless solution. They will routinely collaborate with external partners to integrate capabilities, address gaps in functionality, and align development roadmaps.
Candidates should be passionate about both robotics and construction, able to learn outside of their trained competency quickly, and excited to roll up their sleeves when needed. Key to this position are strong written and verbal communication skills, project management skills, creative thinking, relationship management, and meticulous attention to detail. Most importantly, candidates should be curious and excited about operating in new territory without fear of failure.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the systems integration efforts to integrate software and hardware subsystems including both off-the-shelf and in-house developed components.
Lead the advancement of reliability and maturity across various robotics use cases, with a particular focus on systems integration, automated data analysis workflows, and intuitive user interfaces.
Collaborate with software engineers, hardware engineers, field testing engineers, vendors, partners, and end users to develop reliable robotics solutions.
Support the development of the overall robotics software stack including the autonomy, perception, localization, and navigation subsystems.
Support field testing and capturing stakeholder feedback on active construction sites.
Support the management of project budgets, data analysis, and lessons learned to drive meaningful insights and improvements.
Build relationships across operations, site operations, and subcontractors to understand their needs, develop goals, and ensure that robotics initiatives are aligned to the needs of our project teams.
Act as brand ambassador for the firm, representing the company in industry and professional organizations.
QUALIFICATIONS
US Citizenship (as required by several of HITT's Federal Government clients).
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in robotics, computer science, mechatronics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field.
Master's degree or 2 years of related experience.
Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting skills to systematically isolate and fix complex issues in integrated systems.
