Ensures that programs are continually developed to meet the needs of the community and Youth to Youth. Recruits middle and high school age youth to participate in program-specific activities. Develops and maintains relationships with the community groups and schools in support of Youth-to-Youth Programs and recruitment needs. Trains, develops and facilitates youth-led committees, projects, conference events, workshops and speaking engagements, as assigned. May represent Youth to Youth at community events and exhibits Ensures safety of youth participants and youth staff. Maintains appropriate boundaries when working with youth. Maintains records and data for assigned projects. Performs other related duties and projects as assigned by supervisor. Performs other related projects, speaking engagements, training tasks and duties as assigned by supervisor. Regular and timely attendance. Assist with the NPI process and establishment and maintenance of CAQH profile, if requested Assist with the credentialing process, if requested. Participate in the annual BCI and FBI background check processes. Maintain required professional licensure/credentials. Qualifications One to two years' experience working with high school and/or middle school youth. Experience with youth-led prevention preferred. Valid Ohio Driver's License. Ability to obtain Ohio Certified Prevention Specialist Assistant certification within 18 months of hire. High degree of creativity and self-motivation are required. Experience in developing programming and leading youth in programming development is preferred. Proven organizational, leadership, problem solving and public speaking skills necessary. Excellent writing skills. Network and collaborate with community organizations to establish prevention opportunities Collaborate with the prevention staff to complete the deliverables outlined in funding guidelines.
