Your Role
As a Summer InteriorDesign Intern at Gensler, you will join our creative studio environment for a full-time, paid internship opportunity.
This is a full-time program running from June 2 through August 7, 2026. You must be available for the entire duration of the program.
What You Will Do
You will have an exciting opportunity to join one of our Design Studios and work on interiors projects as a fully collaborative member of a design team, participating in design charrettes to help define strategic goals for our clients, large or small.
Hands-on learning and collaboration with designers, architects, directors, and managers to plan, design, develop and gain real-world experience working with clients across a spectrum of industries and locations.

You have completed your third year of an undergraduate program or first year of a graduate program and are returning to your program post-internship. This internship is not for recent graduates.
Experience using Revit or Rhino required; AutoCAD, and/or BIM modeling software a plus
3-D computer rendering skills (Enscape, V-ray, Sketch Up, 3-D Max, and/or other modeling software)
Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Work, Outlook and Bluebeam
Hand sketching and physical modelling ability a plus

Your Role
As a Summer Brand Design Intern in our Dallas office, you will join our creative studio environment for a full-time, paid internship opportunity.
This is a full-time program running from June 2 through August 7, 2026. You must be available for the entire duration of the program.
What You Will Do
You will use your design expertise to contribute to a wide variety of project types, including environmental, print, digital, and brand development. You will be working under the mentorship of lead designers and will gain tremendous experience and insight into the project processes.
Participate in multiple types of project phases, including conceptual designs, presentations, schematic design, design development, construction documents and production.
Work closely with architects, interiordesigners, digital designers, and strategists to design and realize projects that seamlessly blend physical environments with branded experience
Participate in concept design and strategic project visioning
Gain knowledge of the spatial design process by designing in large scale and understanding technical drawings
Collaborate with your fellow interns on a student-led project for the local community
Your Qualifications
You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Art, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, User Experience or another relevant program. InteriorDesign and Architecture degrees are strongly encouraged to apply if taken previous graphic design or marketing courses.

You'll contribute to a wide range of project types, including sports stadiums, mixed-use developments, hospitality, retail, and experiential environments, helping shape how brands come to life through physical and digital touchpoints.
This is a full-time program running from June 2 through August 7, 2026. You must be available for the entire duration of the program.
What You Will Do
Contribute to the design of integrated brand and digital experiences, including environmental graphics, digital media, interactive moments, and spatial storytelling
Support project work across multiple phases, from concept and visioning through design development and production
Collaborate closely with Brand designers, DXD designers, architects, interiordesigners, and strategists to create cohesive, experience-led solutions
Participate in concept design, experience mapping, and narrative development that bridges brand strategy and spatial design
Gain exposure to designing at architectural scale, including an understanding of drawings, coordination, and real-world implementation
Work with fellow interns on a student-led project serving the local community
Your Qualifications
You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Art, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, User Experience or another relevant program. InteriorDesign and Architecture degrees are strongly encouraged to apply if taken previous graphic design or marketing courses.
You have completed your third year of an undergraduate program or first year of a graduate program and are returning to your program post-internship. This internship is not for recent graduates.
Demonstrate a strong grasp of the fundamentals of graphic design - including color theory, typography, composition, and scale.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
UX/UI capabilities are a plus.
Experience with CAD Tools and designing in architectural scale is a plus.
Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
