Responsible for overall management of the respective studio and the work of multiple project teams focused on the design, development and delivery of outstanding solutions for a practice area or building type. Executes the practice strategy in the studio(s). The Studio Practice Leader often leads multiple projects with multiple clients concurrently. What You Will Do * Direct the production of drawings, specifications, and construction administration activities * Ensure project documentation clearly communicates design intent while meeting the highest technical standards * Resolve complex technical and design challenges to deliver innovative, constructible, and high-quality solutions * Contribute to the development, coordination, and oversight of project manuals and specifications * Coordinate architectural documentation with multidisciplinary consultants, including structural, MEP, lighting, AV, acoustics, accessibility, building envelope, and life safety * Collaborate closely with project teams, clients, vendors, contractors, and consultants across a wide range of healthcare projects, including hospitals, medical office buildings, outpatient clinics, surgery centers, and community health facilities * Manage AHCA (Agency for Health Care Administration) communication and stage approvals for Florida healthcare projects * Conduct on-site observations and document site reviews during construction * Review submittals, substitution requests, and respond to RFIs during construction * Interface with building and permitting officials during the permitting and construction phases of the project * Actively contribute to the financial performance and successful delivery of projects * Support proposal development and contract review in collaboration with the Project Manager * Build, maintain, and strengthen productive, long-term client relationships * Mentor, collaborate with, and support team members across experience levels * Engage in office-wide initiatives, learning programs, and practice-building efforts Your Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution * 6-10 years of related experience on healthcare projects, from feasibility studies, pre-design, space programming, master planning to schematic design, design development and construction documents * Experience working within AHCA to deliver projects in the state of Florida is preferred * Manage AHCA communication and stage approvals * Knowledge of building systems, codes, and structures * Proficiency in Revit is required * LEED AP (or in process) preferred * Experience delivering high-performance, resilient healthcare buildings preferred * Demonstrated commitment to sustainability and sustainable design practices * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously across varying phases of development * Adaptable, curious, and comfortable thriving in a fast-paced environment * Highly collaborative, team-oriented, and client-focused * Registered / Licensed Architect (if you are on the path to licensure, please contact nicole_***************** to determine whether there are other roles that may be of interest) * This role is not remote or hybrid; we look forward to working with our new Architect in our dynamic Tampa or Miami offices.
