HYDROMASHSERVICE was established in 1993 as a trading company.
By 1995 the sphere of HMS Group activity has extended to the market of pumping equipment in Russia and CIS, where HYDROMASHSERVICE ltd became one of the leaders in complex supplying pumps and systems for oil & gas, power, water & utilities.
From the date of establishment and up to 1996 the CEO of the company was G.A. Tsoy.
Starting from 2003 HMS Group is one of the leading integrator of manufacturing, design and service actives in the sphere of pump and Oil & Gas machinery in Russia and the CIS countries.
In 2005 Hydraulic machines and systems, Investment Industrial Group, was established and Hydraulic machines and systems, Management Company, was set up for asset management acting as a sole executive body in respect to all affiliate companies of HMS Group.
In September 2010 Hydraulic machines and systems Management Company was renamed as HMS Group Management Company.
2010 - Giprotyumenneftegaz (Tyumen based R&D and engineering company for oil & gas named after V.I. Muravlenko, GTNG)
In February 2011 HMS Group completed their IPO of global depositary receipts (GDRs) on the London Stock Exchange.
2011 HMS Group acquired Sibneftemash, Russian oilfield equipment manufacturer, and Bobruisk Machine Building Plant.
Since May 2021, global depositary receipts of HMS Group are traded on the Moscow Exchange under the ticker “HMSG”.
