Experience with civil/environmental engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, or similar).
Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida.
Valid US Driver's License, and as a condition of employment, pass AECOM's motor vehicle records review.
Preferred Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in water/wastewater infrastructure design, including pipelines and lift stations.
Experience with design-build or alternative project delivery methods.
Experience leading multi-office or multidisciplinary design teams.

AECOM has an exciting opportunity for an Environmental Technician to join our Fort Lauderdale Remediation team. You will work on a diverse range of projects delivering remediation system solutions to our key clients.
The successful candidate will have the ability to communicate effectively with members of the project team, clients, site personnel and office management, and work both independently and as part of a project team. In addition, the successful candidate will be committed to the team's success and growth; will rigorously apply safety policies and procedures; and will effectively manage the quality of field efforts within the bounds of the AECOM Quality Management System.
The role requires a strong mechanical and safety aptitude, and the candidate must have experience working with plumbing, electrical, and general construction related trades. Duties include (but will not be limited to) equipment maintenance coordination, remediation system maintenance, and environmental sampling activities. Although this is a field position that involves significant equipment maintenance and construction related activities, there will be direct interaction with clients and the candidate must have experience communicating with clients on a professional level.
This position will involve travel throughout Central and South Florida on a regular basis.
The job responsibilities for the position will include but are not limited to the following:
Performs a variety of tasks in support of project staff.
May gather and maintain specified records of scientific data for supervisor, including but not limited to environmental sampling, operations and maintenance and inspections at client sites.
Other activities may include assisting with calculations, setting up and operating equipment, inspecting equipment and installations for compliance with specifications and maintaining proper project documentation.
Effective interaction with internal and external clients
Leading and participating in field meetings, possible oversight of subcontractors, contribute to and following safe work practices, developing/following/implementing safety plans on a day-to-day basis, recognizing hazards and documenting safety observations
Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
HS + 4 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Experience operating and maintaining soil and groundwater remediation equipment
Ability to work outdoors, often in inclement weather conditions

+ Consults with the project team or client/owner related to potential claims, claims avoidance, and claims support.
+ Supports the preparation of reports and performance dashboards for a variety of project controls metrics, analyzes data and creates and/or participates in client presentations.
+ Assists with defining project risks and maintaining project risk register. Escalates project risks and partners with the project team to create and propose mitigation plans.
+ Supports project controls technology and project management control systems (PMCS). May assist in the implementation of an appropriate (PMCS) solution.
+ May participate in negotiations on behalf of the client including providing support in price negotiations, contacting vendors to obtain quotes for materials and services, and leading change order negotiations as needed.

We are seeking a Project Administrator for our Transportation-Construction Management practice in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
Essential Functions:
Direct and assign specific tasks to inspectors and assist in all phases of routine to moderately complex construction projects
Responsible for the documentation of construction quantities and payments for interim progress and final completion, and manages the consultant contract, including responsibility for accounts receivable, subconsultant management, and client management interface
Serve as task manager for phases of individual revenue-producing projects; construction administration support on assigned projects; or as a project field staff and construction administration team leader on projects
Serve as a lead to other inspection staff, administrative staff and subconsultants
Ensure that detailed accurate records of the quantities of work being performed are being collected and maintained

Valid U.S Driver's License and as a condition of employment, must pass AECOM's Motor Vehicle Records Review
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Masters Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Geology, Biological Science, Chemistry or related field
3+ years working in the environmental remediation industry
OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification
Field experience including subcontractor oversight
Understanding of project delivery requirements
Knowledge to conduct reports with creativity, foresight, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team
Project management experience and developing project goals and deliver high quality technical excellence
Experience with application of techniques and procedures, including mulit-media sampling (soil, groundwater, sediment, air)
