HNTB's National Aviation Planning + Environmental Practice is recruiting for one or more Senior Aviation Terminal Planners. The position entails leading both analytical and spatial analyses at large- and medium-hub airports across the United States. Projects will range from high-level space programming to master planning, to advanced planning and conceptual design. The successful candidate(s) will have extensive airport terminal planning experience and will have a strong depth of understanding of the interrelation of terminal buildings with landside and airside functions. Expertise using Revit to develop concepts is a requirement for this position. What You'll Do:

The
Engineering Geology
group of AECOM is actively seeking a creative, motivated, talented Staff Geologist for immediate employment in the

office. The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of geologic processes and will learn how geologic conditions can impact design and construction of large projects.

Primary Responsibilities
Our Northern California Transportation Business Group is looking for a strong Senior Environmental Transportation Planner with a thorough understanding and experience both supporting and managing a range of project types. The successful candidate for this position will be involved with working with our client, the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) in addition to other transportation agencies. The Senior Environmental Planner will report to the Environmental Transportation Planning Section Manager and will be an interdisciplinary team member who participates in transportation project development; prepares environmental analysis of proposed projects and design alternatives; identifies environmental impacts and formulates measures to mitigate impacts; prepares environmental clearance documents for infrastructure projects in compliance with all applicable local, State and Federal laws, regulations and policies, and has the ability to participate in construction monitoring and compliance reporting.
This role will support the environmental planning and engineering teams in our local and regional transportation infrastructure practice.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in planning, preparation and analysis/review of CEPA/NEPA documents and permits for transportation clients including roadways/highways, transit, bicycle/trail, railways, ports, and aviation clients.

* A minimum of 10 years technical and/or field experience in complex environmental planning projects
* Proficiency with MS Office Suite
* Self-starter with excellent writing and communication skills
* Strong conceptual, organizational, problem-solving and research abilities
* Technical and/or field experience dealing with environmental impact issues, associated permit processes and documentation preparation/review

This opportunity entails being responsible for assisting assigned department(s) and/or project(s) by performing basic engineering related tasks which may reflect elements of standard post-secondary engineering curriculum. Relocation/Housing are NOT Provided for this position.
**What You'll Do:**
+ Assists engineer teams in various tasks and duties.
+ Assists Engineer with research, development and design of projects.
+ Assists Engineer with the preparation of engineering drawings and documents as assigned.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
**What You'll Need:**
+ High School Diploma/GED or equivalent plus current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary engineering program
**What You'll Bring:**
+ Understands engineering, geometric, and algebraic principles at a basic level.
+ Shows proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
+ Accepts and applies direction from peers and supervisors.
+ Obtains an understanding of introductory shop drawing and submittal procedures and requirements.
+ Ability to perform basic engineering calculations
+ Ability to organize information for use in drawings or other documents
**What We Prefer:**
+ Completion of 2 years of post-secondary engineering program
