Furnishes and obtains information from other executives or outside representatives as requested. * Prepares reports, gathering and summarizing a variety of data from multiple sources. Composes and produces a variety of correspondence, reports and presentations under general guidance using the appropriate software for word processing, graphics and spreadsheets. * Organizes and maintains office files (electronic and hardcopy) and records in accordance with internal retention policy and procedures. * Prepares and submits expense reports, ensuring timely processing, supporting documentation and accurate coding of expense items. * May transcribe dictation, often covering subjects of a technical and/or confidential nature. * Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements: * Requires an accredited Bachelor's degree in planning, aviation, environmental science, or related field * Understanding of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), federal environmental laws and regulations, and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Orders associated with compliance with federal laws and regulations * Minimum of 5 years of experience in preparing NEPA documentation (Categorical Exclusions, Environmental Assessments, Environmental Impact Statements) for airport or DOT related improvement projects * Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills * Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is essential for use in completing assignments * Working knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS is desired * Ability to work in a collaborative, team environment and responsive to deadlines * Understanding of or strong interest in working in an airport/airfield environment * Demonstrated project management skills * Ability to work on multiple projects at one time * Desired Completed Coursework: ecology, geology, biology, water resources/hydrology, environmental regulation/law/policy, urban and regional planning, noise and air quality analyses, and stakeholder engagement/public outreach If this sounds like the role for you and you're ready to join an amazing team, please apply. #LI-HR An Equal Opportunity Employer. What You'll Do: * Observes, documents, and verifies work in progress by the construction contractor to ensure compliance with contract documents and plans. Confirms procedures are followed and material used conforms to specifications. * Utilizes engineering inspection practices to perform standard mathematical calculations and measurements of completed work to date. * Maintains Inspector's daily report of assigned work activities, contactor labor and equipment, quantity of material received and verified. * Performs on-site material testing and produces as-constructed sketches as required. * Performs other duties as assigned. What You'll Need: * High School Diploma/GED or equivalent and 3 years of construction related experience. * All required jurisdictional certificates and state requirements.
