The Senior Healthcare Superintendent is responsible to support the General Superintendent in overseeing one or more operational areas of a construction project. This position may coordinate and schedule multiple construction crews, determines construction requirements, plans procedures and ensures subcontract work meets required specifications. The position will also participate in the inspection of work and equipment to verify safety and ensure project operations specifications are met. In this role you may be required to travel up to 100% of the time.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Coordinate and manage daily field operational objectives, timelines, and goals.
+ Manage the safety of a job site by actively walking the site, participating in inspections, training and meeting with staff and subcontractors regularly.
+ Monitor the overall progress of a project and work site, review processes and practices within teams to ensure consistency, efficiency and quality of delivery.
+ Participate in the monitoring of the project schedule and budget and work with Senior Superintendents to maintain and update. Coordinate with the subcontractor's office for recovery plans where necessary, meet regularly with staff and subcontractors to discuss progress, obstacles, challenges and assist in removing barriers to completing work.
+ Read construction documents to determine construction requirements or to plan procedures.
+ Record and maintain information and produce reports such as personnel, production, project logs, status and other operational data.
**Requirements:**
+ High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
+ 5-10 years of experience working as a Superintendent on construction projects or 1 year on a construction project as a Senior Superintendent in the healthcare industry.
+ Knowledge of scheduling, cost control and safety procedures
+ Knowledge of all crafts of construction including, but not limited to carpentry, concrete, structural steel, and interior build-outs.
+ Experience managing performance and leading a diverse field team
+ General Computer skills (MS Office)
+ Valid Driver's License

The Assistant Superintendent is responsible to support the Superintendent or Senior Superintendent in one or more operational areas of a construction project. Responsibilities:
Assist Superintendents with monitoring of the project schedule and budget and work with superintendents to maintain and update. Represent Hoar in job site progress meetings or any other meetings as requested or needed.
Act as jobsite superintendent in absence of normal jobsite superintendent.
Create and maintain good working relationships with customers and suppliers to keep smooth flow of operations. Communicate clearly and consistently with all parties involved regarding deliveries, and general job progress, etc.
Assist in coordination and management of all workforce needed to complete assigned projects.
Clearly communicate goals and expectations to crew members, including but not limited to, allotted work hours, amount of work to be completed, schedule, etc.
Requirements:

Nature of Work
Supervises the field construction of a project including its organization, planning and scheduling in order to complete the work on time and within budget
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Conducts workplace inspections assessing quantity and specification/quality, percent completion by subcontractors, and safety compliance
* Communicates with client representatives, architects, engineers, inspectors, vendors, crews, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate timely project completion
* Reviews all contracts, drawings, and specifications and develops on-site plans and procedures for construction on the basis of starting and completion times and staffing requirements for each phase of construction

* Advises project management of potential problems, work interference, schedule difficulties, etc.; assists in circumventing/resolving such problems as required
* Coordinates work among, directs, and monitors activities of various subcontractors to achieve a smooth project completion
* Actively reviews the work performance and implements defined procedures to assure good quality control and make certain work conforms with plans and specifications
* Conducts safety meetings and assumes responsibility for overall site safety by ensuring all onsite personnel comply with project procedures, safety program requirements, work rules, etc.; Documents violations, notifies project management and safety officials, and recommends/implements corrective actions, as required
* Participates in the recruiting, assessment, and hiring of construction personnel
* Coordinates, supervises and trains all direct reports to achieve project objectives

Complete all field reports and documentation including: orientation meetings, pre-installation meetings, safety checklists, weekly toolbox meetings, quality control inspections, and material receipts.
Qualifications and Skills:
At least 10 years of Superintendent experience with a General Contractor.
5+ years of experience in the Data Center/Telecommunications arena working with new build and active facilities.
Must be able to travel to any destination in the US.
Intimate knowledge of MEP systems common to Data Center construction and operations are required.
Knowledge and coordination of the M.O.P. process is required.
Experience with Procore is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
