Pros of working at Hogan Mfg.

Nigth shift hours, 10 hour days, 4 days a week

Cons of working at Hogan Mfg.

Management, management only knows what the floor managers want them to know, sexual harrasment jokes are a 24/7 thing, some leadmen act like if they own the place counting every welding tip or sanding pad you ask for, conflicts between employees are only resolved when the employees are about to figth each other. Theres no helping the employees with check advances or decent raises, 10 cent raises are a thing nowadays , the last 2 years i didnt even get a full dolllar raise. Bonuses are gone but you get to cash out taxed vacation time for xmas time. HR department lil girls who dont have a clue of what we make or do but still are in charge on giving out write ups.

What do you like best about Hogan Mfg.'s CEO and the leadership team?

Whom ever the ceo was i was never sure , The President Mr Fusco, Mr Trimble and Mr Woods they we re always polite and well manner ,no complaints there. Always treated me with respect.

How would you improve Hogan Mfg.'s culture?

They needs Qualified supervisors, managers and leadmen , by qualified i mean not only that they know how to do the job but know how to properly train and talk to people ,draw a line and not see them as "friends" or "bros" and have favoritism towards the boot lickers, give everyone a chance to move around and learn all the machinery so when someone is sick or on vacation production is covered and nobody has to be on a rush to get things done, they need to learn to listen to the employees when theres a problem and not just assume what they want to assume.

How does your compensation at Hogan Mfg. compare to the industry average?

It was very good when i started, a few years later it changed, if id had to compares to other companies id say its decent but not close to competitive or good .

The schedule and I loved what i did the time i did it for , i just wished i had the chance to do more
