STV is seeking an Aviation Project/Program Manager to join our national aviation team to oversee and direct airport terminal improvements. We have projects nationwide at all major airports including the states of CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, MA, MD, NY, NC, OH, SC, TN, TX, etc.
A successful candidate will need significant aviation experience and have previously managed design or construction within an active airport terminal environment.
Responsibilities include:
* Provide project management, technical oversight and leadership for all phases of aviation projects associated with a capital improvement, including, but not limited to; business case development, stakeholder engagement, design management, design and construction procurement, permitting and federal/state approvals, scheduling, project delivery, cost and change management safety, quality control, and ORAT
* Provide guidance to discipline managers and contractors to address key program challenges, risk management, innovation, schedule and budget performance
* Provide leadership to ensure that responsibilities are accomplished to a high degree of quality which exceeds the expectation of the client
* Develop project level process and procedures, project controls, and governances, that align to and drive overall project goals
* Manage and oversee all aspects of project planning and development, including engineering and pre-construction/construction; bidding strategy; schedules; cost estimating; budget oversight; systems and facility integration; and commissioning/activation
* Facilitates coordination with stakeholders; airport operating divisions, airline operations, regulatory agencies and other delivery partners and oversight entities, as required
* Facilitates the development of the overall program schedule and oversees the integration of project level schedules
* Utilization of earned value management to track and manage the program and associated projects
* Schedule and conduct design and/or construction progress meetings
* Drive the planning, design, and construction deliverables to successfully meeting the deliverable dates
* Present progress to stakeholders and project delivery partners
* Use electronic tools including Primavera P6, Project Management Information Systems (PMIS), and other related software systems
* Coordinate maintenance of traffic and phasing plans, utility shutdown requests, impact notices, disruption notices, contingency planning and other tasks as needed
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in successful management of capital projects/programs of over $10M
* Knowledge of airport operations, design, and construction of airport facilities is required
* Experience in overseeing multiple construction activities concurrently as part of a complex capital infrastructure project is preferred
Required Education/Accreditation
* Achieved a bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management

Compensation Range:

Keep Senior Project Manager informed of workload and any changes in project schedule or scope or additional services.

Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

What you'll bring to our firm:
Bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering with an emphasis in structures from an ABET-accredited university or college.
A minimum of 10 years' experience in design and/or management of rail or railroad focused projects.
Registration as a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Texas
Structures design experience utilizing AREMA manual for Railroad Engineering.
Familiarity with Class I railroad bridge standards.
Structural engineering background, knowledge of Microstation and experience with structural engineering design drawings, specifications and cost estimates.
Team oriented engineer with strong communication skills.

Your Qualifications
* 15+ years of Project/Design Management experience in an Architecture firm, preferably in the Healthcare practice area
* Bachelor's Degree from an accredited school of design or architecture
* Licensed Architect preferred
* Exceptional client relationship and business development skills, with the ability to connect with C-suite executives and key stakeholders.
* Adept at storytelling and delivering compelling presentations that articulate design strategies and solutions.
* Demonstrated expertise in managing project delivery, budgets, and schedules in all phases of architectural projects with a high level of design competence and expertise in healthcare developments

What You Will Do
Provide design and documentation of laboratory facilities for a range of projects.

Participate in user group meetings (heads of departments, specialists, etc.) to help collect program needs for laboratory specifications in technical facilities.

Anticipate and develop solutions to technical and design problems following established standards.
Ability to convey laboratory planning needs to designers and end users.
Applicants must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and work effectively with clients, scientists, laboratory managers and technicians, facilities and project managers.
Your Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in architecture or equivalent in education required, laboratory design certification preferred. Architecture license a plus.
10+ years' experience in Architecture inclusive of 3+ years' laboratory experience such as: vivarium, bio-containment, research, teaching (science), pharmaceutical, public health, clinical, process and manufacturing facilities.
Experience working directly with senior management, scientists, laboratory managers and technicians, facilities and project managers, and other project stakeholders.
Knowledge of laboratory planning, design, construction documents, construction administration and project construction.
Demonstrable creativity, passion and interest in design and planning of laboratories within technical facilities.
Well-rounded, strategic-thinker with an integrated approach to design, management and technical project resolution who can help shape a vision for the future.

Your Role
