As a Sr. Architectural Project Manager, you will serve as a motivated market leader working across a wide variety of civic, public work, aviation, and transportation project types. You will bring a positive, solutions-oriented attitude to serving public-sector clients, leading multidisciplinary design teams, and driving high-quality production and timely project delivery. In this capacity, you will be responsible for the following:
* Be a client facing representative for GFT Architecture, project a positive attitude and be able to gain our client's trust.
* Generate project scopes, schedules, and budgets and be responsible for achieving and/or exceeding our performance in these areas.
* Lead complex projects and diverse project teams to serve clients with the aim of deepening our relationships.
* Leading through example by driving high-quality production of construction documents, including detailed drawings, specifications, estimates, and more.
* Serve as the primary contact with transportation clients on key projects.
* Ensure that project quality requirements are followed.
* Travel and lead teams on site visits as required for projects.
* Research and become familiar with client requirements including program, guidelines, and standards.
* Perform comprehensive code, life-safety, and product research.
* Lead projects from cradle to grave, starting from initial survey, through design, and through construction.
* Lead the development of design concepts and presentations that clearly express the project's goals and concepts.
* Lead production teams in the development of technical details including coordination with engineering disciplines.
* Coordinate work of all disciplines.
* Supervise the preparation of project specifications.
* Supervise the review of shop drawings and construction of RFIs.
* Help guide and mentor emerging architectural design staff.
* Lead and/or assist with the preparation of proposals responding to RFQ's, RFP's and other solicitations.
What you will bring to our firm:
* Bachelor of Architecture Degree or Master of Architecture Degree.
* Experience with software such as Revit Architecture, BlueBeam Revu, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
* Familiarity with aviation and transportation building types and requirements.
* Experience with SpecLink platform is a plus
* Effective writer, communicator, detail-oriented designer
* Able to work collaboratively with staff and clients on multiple projects.
* In depth knowledge of International Building Codes, NFPA, ADA, LEED, and related standards.
* Organized individual with a positive team building spirit with a collaborative one team attitude.

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is is $160,000 - $200,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.

Lead, develop, and supervise a Bridge Team in one of our Midwest Area offices. This would include developing and monitoring staffing plans, workload balancing, mentoring, performance management, training, and day-to-day operational oversight.
Drive team and group strategic initiatives, contributing to our Midwest Bridge Group strategy and developing team-level plans.
Support business development and client engagement, including proposal preparation, interviews, technical presentations, and maintaining strong client relationships.

What you'll be challenged to do:
This experienced designer will be responsible for the protection and control design of high voltage substation projects up to 765kV.
In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
Design and execution of high-voltage substations projects in the 4kV - 765kV range with an emphasis on project safety, cost, quality, and reliability
Generate designs and detailed engineering deliverables working under the supervision of lead engineer and project manager
Complete basic engineering calculations related to design/engineering deliverables
Develop one & three line diagrams; schematics and wiring diagrams; control and relay panel layout and specifications; control and relay panel and equipment wiring diagrams; SCADA system and communications interfaces including RTUs, HMIs and IEDs; auxiliary system design including batteries and chargers
Compile complete list of relay and control materials for substation projects, and quote/order materials as necessary per contractual agreements with customers
Follow specific instructions of supervisor or engineers to perform the more complex design assignments requiring application of standard design principles and practices
Investigate new and existing substation technical drawings and conditions to ensure that installation and operations conform to industry standards and customer requirements
Travel to job sites for project assessment and data(notes, pictures, etc.) gathering as needed.
Communicate and interact with clients.
Perform quality reviews of projects completed by peers
What you'll bring to our firm:
5+ years of relevant substation or general electrical T&D designing experience
Knowledge and ability to utilize computer-aided drafting including AutoCAD & MicroStation.
Familiar knowledge of the following codes: National Electrical Safety Code (NESC), National Electrical Code (NEC) and Institute for Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE)
Knowledge of substation voltages, MV, HV, EHV
Ability to apply project schedules to complete tasks in a timely manner and within project budget
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Ability to review project documents and recommend value engineering ideas
Ability to proficiently use Microsoft office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
What we prefer you bring:
Experience in the energy industry or a consulting services environment.
Thorough knowledge of the following codes: National Electrical Safety Code (NESC), National Electrical Code (NEC) and Institute for Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE)
Compensation:
