Hol-Mac company history timeline

1963

Hol-Mac Corporation, manufacturer of Pac-Mac®, was originally founded in 1963 as Southern Welding and Machine.

1985

In 1985, a new DONKEY® was developed – a revolutionary, lightweight and powerful truck mounted forklift.

1987

By 1987, Quality Corporation began to manufacture the DONKEY® at its factory in Denver, Colorado.

1990

In the early 1990’s a new division named Pac-Mac® was created to provide products in the solid waste industry.

2013

Pac-Mac® expanded its product offerings again in 2013 with the introduction of products to service non-hazardous hauling industries including oilfield, septic, grease trap and more.

2015

After nearly 30 years since the first truck carried forklift was manufactured, The Holder family of Bay Springs, Miss. acquired Donkey Forklifts in November 2015.
