Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Operate GPS-equipped bulldozers to perform finish grading of subgrades, embankments, roadways, and pads in accordance with project plans and specifications. * Accurately finish to grade on slopes, including cut and fill slopes, tie-ins, and transitions, while maintaining required tolerances. * Utilize GPS machine control systems to achieve precise grades, elevations, and cross-slopes. * Read and interpret construction plans, grade stakes, and digital models to ensure proper execution of work. * Perform grading operations efficiently while maintaining smooth finishes and proper drainage. * Follow all company safety policies, including taking specific action to avoid other workers, equipment, and potential obstructions. * Operate equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and site-specific instructions. * Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or repair needs to supervision. * Maintain awareness of surrounding personnel, equipment, utilities, and site conditions at all times. * Assist with rough grading, backfilling, and other earthwork activities as directed. * Be capable and willing to perform general manual labor when not actively operating equipment. * Maintain clean and orderly work areas and contribute to overall jobsite housekeeping. * Conduct all work with 100% integrity, professionalism, and commitment to safety and quality. Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: * High school diploma or equivalent. * Minimum 5 years of experience operating bulldozers on heavy civil or infrastructure projects, with demonstrated finish-grade experience. * Proven ability to finish to grade and maintain slopes using GPS-controlled dozers. * Experience operating GPS systems such as Trimble, Topcon, or equivalent preferred. * Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, grade stakes, and digital terrain models. * Ability to receive and follow written and oral instructions. * Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, grade checkers, and field personnel. * Strong commitment to contributing to a culture of safety, quality workmanship, and teamwork.
