SUMMARY: Material Handlers are required to load and unload finished good product in and out of delivery trailers. They will be required to stage material in preparation for loading, scan the appropriate product onto the correct truck and safely secure the product onto the trailer or delivery vehicle. Loads material into vehicles and prepares with strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage during transit Uses safe material handling procedures when lifting, or moving equipment and material or when directing movement. Attaches identifying tags, or labels to material or packaging containers. Stacks and assembles material and equipment into bundles and uses banding, skids, and containers appropriately. Cleans products, materials, equipment and yard area to keep free of debris. Inspects and prepares products, equipment and hardware for re-stocking and re-rental by cleaning, and repairing to standard. May use form cleaning machinery and/or power and hand tools in renovating forms as needed.
