About the Role:
The Equipment Delivery Driver plays a critical role in ensuring the timely and safe transportation of various types of equipment to designated locations within the Clayton, Delaware region. This position requires meticulous attention to detail to verify delivery orders, secure equipment properly, and maintain accurate records of deliveries. The driver will interact professionally with clients and site personnel, representing the company with integrity and reliability. Minimum Qualifications:
Valid DOT Medical Certificate is appropriate for the vehicle class being operated.
Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with equipment.
Clean driving record with no recent violations or accidents.
Ability to lift and maneuver heavy equipment safely.
Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience operating specialized equipment such as forklifts, Turf and Ag equipment.
Previous experience in the construction, manufacturing, or logistics industries.
Certification in defensive driving or safety training programs.
Ability to perform minor vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate company vehicles to transport equipment to customer sites or between company locations.
Load and unload equipment securely, ensuring it is properly fastened and protected during transit.
Verify delivery orders and obtain necessary signatures or documentation upon delivery.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and report any maintenance needs.
Communicate effectively with service admin team, customers, and site personnel to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues.
Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, delivery logs, and any incidents during transport.
Comply with all federal, state, and local transportation laws and company safety policies.

To succeed in this role, you should bring:
* Educational and Licensing Requirements: Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL A or B). High School diploma preferred. Driver must qualify as not prohibited in the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.
* Skills: Proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking). Acceptable CSA and MVR record; no DUI/DWI in the last 5 years and no more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to the construction and transportation industry. Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions and guidance from supervisors. Knowledge of traffic routes and basic maintenance skills for truck upkeep (desirable).

Job Summary
Responsible for safely driving a tractor trailer combination vehicle in and around the city, state, job sites and Company property; and for the safe and efficient loading and unloading of product. Check loads to ensure product is being hauled in an appropriate and safe manner to adjust to desired level
Verify directions with plant personnel before leaving the plant to ensure delivery to the correct customer and job site

Develop extensive working relationships with customers, both external and internal, in order to maximize opportunities for CEMEX and to ensure customer needs are addressed
Keep equipment in acceptable condition of cleanliness using approved cleaning materials and supplies
Maintain radio contact with supervisor/dispatch to receive and transmit delivery instructions

Allan Myers is seeking experienced CDL B Dump TruckDrivers to support site work, grading, mass excavation, mainline pipe installation, processed water projects, milling operations, and paving operations in heavy civil construction. Key Responsibilities
Safely operate dump trucks to transport materials such as dirt, stone, asphalt, and milling debris between job sites.
Support grading, excavation, mainline pipe installation, processed water, milling, and paving operations by hauling materials as needed.
Load and unload materials while ensuring proper weight distribution and adherence to legal load limits.
Follow assigned haul routes and traffic laws, adhering to company safety policies and DOT regulations.
Inspect trucks daily for safety and mechanical issues, performing basic maintenance checks.
Communicate effectively with site supervisors, equipment operators, and project teams.
Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, and material loads.
