WHAT YOU'LL DO: Medical Assessments: Conduct thorough medical assessments for patients during the intake process, including taking vitals, interviewing, annotating medical history, and performing drug screenings. Medication Administration: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to treatment plans. Patient Education: Educate patients on medication adherence and relevant health information, contributing to their overall care plans. Documentation: Generate and review monthly medication administration records (MARs) and reconcile them with records provided by authorized pharmacists. Facility Support: Assist with daily operations, including supporting Recovery Support Specialists, handling front desk inquiries, and performing various administrative tasks. Diagnostic Assistance: Aid in diagnostic tests and procedures, providing essential support to the medical team. Patient and Family Education: Offer education and support to patients and their families, enhancing their understanding of treatment and recovery. Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the smooth operation of the facility. WHO YOU ARE: You are a compassionate and skilled LPN with a commitment to improving the lives of those in recovery. Requirements: Licensure: Current Practical Nurse license for the state of West Virginia. Experience: 6+ months of experience as a licensed LPN, with a preference for experience in substance use disorder or behavioral health settings. Certifications: Must have or be able to obtain First Aid and CPR certification within 30 days of hire. Skills: Ability to work independently, read and interpret documents, and handle various tasks with professionalism and flexibility. Work Conditions and Physical Requirements: Work Setting: Indoor, environmentally controlled environment; exposure to contagious diseases and potentially volatile situations. Body Positioning: Frequent sitting, standing, and use of hands to handle objects; ability to lift up to 10 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
