Job Description
The Part-Time Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall guest readiness of assigned guest rooms and public areas. This role is essential in delivering a positive guest experience by upholding the IHG Way of Clean standards. The Part-Time Housekeeper ensures all rooms are cleaned, sanitized, and prepared according to brand guidelines while providing friendly, efficient service.
Guest Room Cleaning
Clean, sanitize, and prepare guest rooms following the IHG Way of Clean protocols.
Make beds, change linens, replenish amenities, and restock supplies.
Dust, vacuum, disinfect surfaces, and ensure all rooms meet brand cleanliness standards.
Report maintenance issues, damaged items, or safety concerns promptly.
Operational Support
Follow proper chemical handling and safety procedures.
Maintain housekeeping carts, storage closets, and supply levels.
Respond to guest requests and provide friendly, helpful service.
Collaborate with the Housekeeping team for efficient daily operations.
Qualifications
Must have prior housekeeping experience in an IHG hotel.
Ability to work independently with strong time-management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry moderate loads; must be able to stand/walk for extended periods.
Ability to work a flexible part-time schedule, including weekends and holidays if needed.
Compensation:
$16.00
Responsibilities:
Maintain common spaces including the hotel lobby, corridors, and public restrooms
Ensure guest rooms are clean and tidy according to our hotel's standards before guests arrive
Answer general questions from guests
Write down what rooms were cleaned, report lost and found items and any damage or repairs needed
Vacuum, mop, make beds, dust and polish furniture, stock rooms with toiletries, and do laundry as needed
Qualifications:
Possesses a strong work ethic with exemplary organizational, time management, and communication skills
Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and products
Must be flexible. Weekends are a must
