As a Service Advisor, you will own our customer's experience in the service lane. You are the first point of contact with our customers and will be well-versed in product offerings, inventory needs, technician scheduling and service repairs/maintenance. From greeting vehicle owners on the drive line to explaining the repair process, our Service Advisors are true professionals who enjoy helping others. We welcome individuals who are new to the automotive industry but with previous roles in customer service, retail sales, restaurant industry or hospitality. Employees in this position will be paid a base hourly wage at the applicable minimum wage rate - $17.25 per hour, plus commissions. Wash & vacuum vehicles for the Body Shop Department Clean driveway and sidewalks Drive vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed Make key tags for vehicles Inspect vehicle for noticeable defects, such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery Restore using appropriate materials Wash, wax, and buff the vehicle, clean interior and exterior windows Apply special-purpose cleaner to remove foreign materials Vacuum and scrub interior of vehicle using appropriate cleaning agents, applicators and cleaning devices Clean engine and engine compartment with steam-cleaning equipment Apply dressing on tires and tire wells Utilize special purpose cleaners to ensure lasting cleanliness of vehicles Operate all tools in a safe manner by using proper eye, hand & body protection Perform other duties as assigned.
