Job Description Holt CAT in Anna, Texas is looking for a experienced Heavy Equipment-Shop Service Technician. This position is responsible for providing high-quality repair service on heavy equipment in a shop environment, in order to respond to customer needs in a positive, caring, and timely manner and to ensure maximum value for work performed. Must have 3 years experience on heavy construction equipment. The hours of the position are Monday-Friday, 7 AM - 4 PM. Our address is 451 E. Outer Loop Road, Anna, Texas 75409. Qualifications: A qualified candidate must have the following skills or abilities: Troubleshoot and perform complex repairs correctly in the shop such as pumps, hydraulic, engine, transmissions, HVAC, and electrical issues and repairs. At least 3 years of field or shop service tech troubleshooting and repair skills of heavy equipment such as dozers, backhoes, front-end loaders, excavators, etc. Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment using electronic and manual equipment to determine failure. Ability to troubleshoot Tier 4 Final Emissions Systems Ability to troubleshoot Exhaust Gas Recirculation Systems Able to document all work orders properly Diesel Tech Schooling is highly desired. Must have a steady employment history. Must have a valid driver's license. Must have the ability to obtain a forklift license. Ability to frequently reach, bend, walk, etc. Must be able to lift 50 pounds, approximately 5 times a day. Able to stand and walk for extended periods. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy is required. Excellent attendance is required. Must be able to work Monday-Friday -7 AM - 4 PM.
