Holt CAT is the largest Caterpillar Dealer of Heavy Construction Equipment in the United States. We are currently seeking a eSolutions Field Technician for the Waco, Texas region. The eSolutions Field Technician installs, repairs, upgrades, calibrates, and troubleshoots current and future technology products. More than one year of telematic devices repair experience is required; three or more years preferred. In addition, this position trains customers on all levels of machine e-technology products. Must have a valid driver license, safe driving record. CAT machinery repair experience and or related equipment is preferred experience. Must have a valid driver license and a safe driving history.

Essential Functions:
Install telematics devices on heavy equipment in the field. Requiring the use of hand tools to gain access, Understanding of wiring diagrams, Splicing and building wiring harnesses, updating of flash files, and PC configuration.
Repair telematics devices on heavy equipment in the field to include firmware
Upgrade or replace telematics components on heavy equipment in the field to include the flashing of ECM firmware
Troubleshoot and test telematics components on heavy equipment in the field to include the flashing of ECM firmware
Training others on how to test repair and replace telematics components on heavy equipment in the field to include the flashing of ECM firmware
Works safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards
Requires regular and punctual employee attendance
Performs other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
More than one year of telematic devices repair experience required; three or more years preferred
Additional technical training and/or Associates Degree in related field preferred
Valid Driver's License required with a safe driving history
