The incumbent has access to confidential patient information and makes decisions independently and in collaboration with others. The Staff Nurse, RN works under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager and under the indirect supervision of the Director of Nursing. The Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) will provide timely, non-judgmental, compassionate care to all patients seen for interpersonal violence along with patients with high risk social health needs throughout the health system. Minimum/Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited program in Nursing. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required within three years from the date of hire. Registered Nurse with current Ohio license Current Ohio Registered Nurse Licensure or higher, preferred Pediatric and Adult SANE trained. SANE Job Responsibilities: Perform and document sexual assault medical forensic exams and treatment along with all interpersonal violence in an accurate and timely manner Perform a complete medical forensic evaluation to include: Head-to-toe medical assessment for trauma, detailed genital/anal examination if indicated, forensic specimen collection and supportive documentation Photo documentation of bodily and/or genital-anal injuries with competent documentation Assess for mandatory reporting status and report when appropriate Help to coordinate referrals for appropriate follow-up care as needed Minimum of 13 four hour coverage of on-call per month Minimum of 2 holidays per year with priority choice Commute to all Adena Health System emergency room campuses as needed for Sexual Assault patients and high acuity interpersonal violence patients presenting at critical care access sites Maintain audit and faxing of charts as needed If all SANE nurse responsibilities are complete then act as an emergency room float nurse until the presentation of new patient. Evening hours required with a minimum of 2 weekends per month. While position is evenings and weekends predominantly, the right candidate with have flexibility scheduling to be worked out with SANE/Forensic Nursing Coordinator.

As an RN Care Coordinator for the Cancer Center, you will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary care team to support patients with complex, chronic, or specialty conditions across the continuum of care. In this role, you will conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' clinical, social and behavioral needs to develop individualized care plans that promote wellness and improve outcomes. Serving as the primary point of contact for patients and families, you will ensure seamless communication, close care gaps and facilitate timely coordination of services.
