William C. Rhodes, III, was named Chairman of AutoZone during fiscal 2007 and has been President, Chief Executive Officer and a director since March 2005. Prior to his appointment as President and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Rhodes was Executive Vice President - Store Operations and Commercial. He has extensive international experience, having lived and worked in London, England, and Sydney, Australia. Ted earned a bachelor’s degree in English from The College of William and Mary and a master’s degree in business administration from Carnegie Mellon University.
