Is knowledgeable of hospital and department compliance requirements for federally funded healthcare programs (e.g. Medicare and Medicaid) regarding fraud, waste and abuse. Brings any questions or concerns regarding compliance to the immediate attention of hospital administrative staff. Takes appropriate action on concerns reported by department staff related to compliance. Other Requirements As an employee of Clarke County Hospital, you may be required to assist in response activities for disasters, emergencies and pandemics which may occur outside of normal working hours. Qualifications: Education: Certified Physician's Assistant (P.A.-C) or Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) or Doctoral Nurse Practitioner (DNP). Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program. Certification in specialty areas or demonstrate active progress toward attainment of certification. Current licensure as P.A.-C in state of Iowa Current licensure as RN and ARNP in state of Iowa Experience: EPIC charting. License(s)/Certification(s): Valid driver's license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons. Current, active, and unrestricted Physician's Assistant Board Certification. Current, active, and unrestricted RN and ARNP license in the State of Iowa with appropriate certifications as necessary by licensing boards. Current prescriptive authority in the State of Iowa including DEA Registration. Current BCLS and ACLS certifications.
